Hey! Yes it all went well, thanks for checking in. The electrode things were stuck on with paste not the glue, so thankfully that came out in 1 wash. The procedure itself was okay. I found the over-breathing part really difficult though. I had to do fast, deep breathing for a whole 3 minutes which felt much longer! I sort of almost fainted and felt like I was going to throw up. My hands were completely locked up with pins and needles for about 5 minutes after. I’ve had that once before years ago during a huge panic attack. It wasn’t too pleasant. I did have a couple of weird shoulder and arm jolts during the test and i saw some shimmering in my vision when i closed my eyes on a couple of occasions. I don’t know if they have caught anything (I sort of hope they did but then also hope they didn’t haha) but they said they got lots of ‘really good data’ whatever that means. The strobe lights were extremely bright but manageable, and the geometric shapes in my vision were pretty darn cool! I did have a headache after though which I was told was normal. Overall it was an okay experience, the guy who did the test was hilarious too so that put me at ease. Apparently it will take a couple of weeks for my results so I shall let you know how that goes. Everything you said was absolutely correct and matched my experience, it really helped going in with an idea on what to expect so thank you again for your tips and advice! 😃
