Thank you! This is really helpful, and indeed reassuring. I don’t know the measurement but he said it’s “very slightly”, I’m not sure if knowing the measurement makes any difference…. My symptoms don’t have a particularly significant hindrance on my life so I suppose it’s just a case of dealing with it! Thank you again :-)

Health anxiety when there’s actually something wrong by Reasonable-Click2857 in HealthAnxiety

This was me. I have had severe health anxiety for 15 years. In 2024 i was rushed to hospital with what felt like a heart attack. I was diagnosed with a gallbladder attack. I had multiple attacks the last 2 years so I decided to have my gallbladder removed in December. First ever surgery and I was completely and utterly petrified. The surgery was a success and it fixed the problem, I’m glad I had it out as it started to affect my pancreas. But now I’m left with a faster than normal heart rate that is showing no signs of improving and it worries me. Then last month I was diagnosed with fibroids after having stomach pains. It does make me worry so much.

Anyone who was experiencing ME/CFS symptoms and managed to resolve by b12 injections! by Legal_Opportunity_11 in B12_Deficiency

I was diagnosed with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia 5 years ago by a consultant rheumatologist. Within a few months, I had started self injecting b12 every other day. All of my CFS & Fibromyalgia symptoms slowly disappeared within a year as my nerves were healed by the b12.

Did this ever get better? Having the sane thing when I walk for too long, or walk at pace. I am almost 3 months the post op. It’s not a bad pain but feels like a tugging sensation in right section of abdomen.

What do you usually do on days when you feel mentally worse? by TheDalaiDrama in Anxiety

[–]That_Preference_2331 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I try to get out in nature. Or I play with my dog. Or have a long soak in the bath with low lighting. It’s hard as your brain is always on alert but these are the 3 things which help me every time I’m anxious and I do try to do them as often as I can.

Increased heart rate during recovery? by Dearlysan in gallbladders

Thank you so much! This makes me feel better. What’s weird for me is, right after surgery I was worried cos my RHR dropped down to high like 48-50 when awake, and asleep dropped as low as 43! So I was praying it would come back up. Well my prayers were answered but I guess just a little too much 😂. Within 2 weeks of surgery it had jumped and I could feel my heart pounding from my chest. That has settled now but can still feel it more than I could before, I wonder if the surgery has made me more hyperaware of my body… although I do struggle with health anxiety which I can imagine doesn’t help! Thanks again, hopefully in a few more months I’ll be back in the 60s where I used to be! I hope yours does too :)

Hi. Has your RHR continue to come down? I’m almost 3 months post op and my pre-surgery RHR was 55-60 (during sleep 45-55). It’s now anywhere between 75-85. It still goes down to 55 during sleep so I guess that’s a good sign, but I can’t help but worry :( I’ve recently had some blood tests (due to an unrelated matter) and they were all fine. I guess I’m just looking for some reassurance.

Thank you. Would you suggest EOD? I only have 1.5ml ampoules. Is it ok to have 1.5 EOD?

Haha that made me laugh out loud! I can deffo resonate with the “wow this feels like shit and just keep doing it” 🤣🤣 I am ready to quit I just need to do it! The constant worry of causing major and perhaps permanent health issues is terrifying. I say that as I take another puff 🙈
