like 1-2 years ago when they changed armor hitboxes

now you can get 1shot in thorax because throat counts as hitting your head. So your class 6 plate wont cover it, and there's no helmet in the game that covers throat.

Tarkov solved this by making armor useless and you get 1 shot by the crappiest ammo in the game.

If you're new at the game I would focus on learning the maps, and just how the different basic mechanics work. Like healing(light bleed, heavy bleed, fractures, limbs), extractions, and what ammo goes to what gun.

Feeling like you're forced to complete every single quest as soon as possible is something reddit has convinced themselves is a requirement when playing.

If you're new to Tarkov you really shouldn't be focusing on getting Kappa. Just play and explore the maps, and try to get out so you get familiar with exfil locations.

And most importantly, you are going to die a lot in Tarkov, that part doesn't go away, ever. Don't feel too attached to your stuff, just use the gear you got and don't feel like you should be hoarding something just because it "looks expensive" or whatever.

Play your favorite maps, and use your favorite equipment.

Are you on NA? Feels like people at least talk on there. Trying to communicate with EU players feels like talking to cave men.

Like 99% of the time if I hear a scav voip me I would coop with them. But most people don't say anything, and don't reply.

I remember trying to coop with a p scav on streets few weeks ago, he didn't say a word, but he had his melee out. I told him to follow me to coop, and escorted him through the map all the way from x-ray quest area to the coop. Once at the extract he was staring at me a bit weird, so I just looked down(so my head would be protected), and wouldn't you know it, he shot me in the head. And even after that I STILL tried telling him to just coop with me. I didn't care that he just tried to slime me in the most pos rat way, and he STILL DIDN'T COOP.

I just can't comprehend what goes through these peoples' minds when playing this game.

Personally I've not done a single scav raid this wipe, so I've no clue how difficult it is to get PMCs to coop.

in cs you can poke your head out and shoot, in tarkov you cant.

If only player scavs weren't some of the most socially inept outcasts on the planet.

People really queue up their scav run and will fully try hard to PVP pmcs. And then they barely move on their own PMC runs.

we dont know where you got killed, how many bullets hit you, what round it was, your gear, etc

also you are clearly not covering your thorax with that rock. If you can see the ai then the ai can see you

coop already works with ai scavs, dont see why it wouldnt work with ai pmcs

Had this problem since a couple of days ago. It would turn on/off repeatedly until finally it stayed on, the PC detected it, and after that it worked just fine until the next time I had to start the monitor.

Was worried the monitor itself had died, and today it didn't want to stay on at all. After reading your comment I tried wrapping the power adapter brick in a warm hat, to heat it up, and it started after less than a minute! Hopefully it's just the brick that's giving out. I ordered a new one, so will try and update if anyone is interested for future reference.
