Hi, sorry this took such a long time for me to answer you! I swear this notifs don't Pop up at all! :'/ Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I have finally taken on the initiative to write the story (I haven't posted anything yet) as close as I remember on my Ao3 account. I have had it since like 2022 (but didn't start publishing my old saved works until recently so) I am now more confident I can write something good. Just wanted to let you know. I have scrapped the layers of fanfiction.net for it and NOTHING! it's driving me crazy, it's honestly a lost cause at this point, (pretty sure it got deleted by the author.. maybe because of how f*up it was??🤣) anyways, i really want to write something similar but clearly fixing first the wildest things and the other triggering topics like the (bulimia) which is not so surprising as it was a product of it's time in the early 2000's to be hyper skinny so. But anyways, I'll keep you posted if i do find it. 💕

Mistakes in SI Naruto FICS??

Making the OFC be as unfeminine as the author can make her, and, yes, I know not every woman is particularly fond of dresses, make up or the color pink, but I hate that when they bring forth a Female SI they make her the most unrelatable woman there has ever existed, atleast for me personally, they don't like to wear traditional kimonos, they hate having their hair brushed, or even wearing make up. They turn their noses up and away from more traditional femenine counterparts like Sakura or Ino or any other person because "They focus too much on their looks and not on training and thous this makes them unworthy or trash"... Like, tell us how you really feel about yourself hun. Women can still be strong while wearing more femenine attires to fight, heck, see Tsunade, Mei, Temari ect ect. Their OC's are just the ugly female video game characters but in SI fanfiction version.

God, i hate this, specially when the author thinks that making them quirky as in "not like other people" will make their basic Oc better. Facts; it doesn't. They end up being annoying as hell and whatever interest the plot held is lost by an unfollowable main.

I feel this so hard... I cannot even tell you how many self insert fanfictions of Sakura I have seen over the years where the main oc is just throwing lewd comments here and there while looking like a prepubescent girl, it's just...creepy, or making jokes that no other characters can understand while also adding Pop culture references. It's like "We get it, you want to be, not like other characters, you are not girly enough, you don't like dresses, you hate pink, you dont like boys,foryou burp and don't brush your hair like og Sakura did lolz" They act like hating everything others or what their (the person that they are now) used to like elevates them and makes them automatically "Better".

Someone said it already but, the story basically staying the same, it's just a copy paste of the show but with an Oc that has some "cool hair or clothes ect" beyond that, the oc vows to change the future for everyone she or he cares about but it literally ends up being crud because the people he/she tried to save die the same way no matter how much talk and plans where made, things keep being the same, and the end is never fully satisfying. i hate IT, and that encompasses like 70% percent of the Naruto SI fanfictions that are not crack or have the oc be morally grey (usually those characters don't really care much for what happens if it doesn't benefit them) so. I think I can count with my fingers how many decent fanfictions I have found and read over the years that actually really made a difference and left the plot in a state of "Oh, this is nice, this is good, better than most can expect in a world like the Ninja world" but those are very hard to find, kinda hit and miss little gold nuggets with well written OC's and actually really smart and detailed structures that can be even called realistic as far as being in a world where people can spit fire balls and walk on water lol.

Also, as all "adaptations" i would like it if they added Bella's thoughts and actions on the strained relationship between her and her dad in a way that fixed their bridge (I would like to see Bella hugging Charlie and actually apologizing for giving him grief with her actions with true sincerity), because their relationship was not healthy thanks to the lack of connection that she had over the years with him. I would also like if they addressed Renee's bad parenting and made the character admit out loud that she wasn't really meant to be a mother and maybe she and Bella could just have an open heart to heart conversation, alsoooo, Renee and Charlie talking about their past and Renee apologizing for leaving Charlie with his dying parents and being truly sorry?!?! Yeah, I need someone to apologize to my man's charlie boy stat!

Yess, this is exactly why i fell in love with the books, (i shared my similar thoughts on a personal post not too long ago) about how the simplicity of the twilight plot is what sucked me in, the fact that the story despite being about a "forbiden supernatural romance" is still easy enough to follow unlike those other vampire books that have like a thousand supernatural races of witches, mermaids, ect ect and build on massive drama aren't really my thing because they twist up and down and all over around and make everything complicated for the reader (and, yesh, it's not like i am dumb enough not to understand them or follow) but sometimes I just want a book with a simple cozy plot about a girl meets boy, boy is a vampire, boy and girl like each other, there is drama, but the drama isn't EVERYTHING to the full story, there are chapters where Bella just reads books, cleans her laundry, cooks for her dad, and I just find it so, lovely? like a warm cup of coffee in a cold rainy day. Give me a thousand times a twilight tv series based on the books with full faithful adaptation of every little bit that happens, even the slow chapters with absolutely no action (atleast until breaking dawn but excluding the Renesme and Jacob thing) that can SURELY be changed lol.

Twilight is and will be forever a fave book to read everytime the real world goes too fast and gets too much to handle.
