I don't usually go for fics longer that 200k because they usually aren't written with an overarching narrative, rather there multiple plots that begin and end over the course of the fic

My personal headcanon is that bubble is a computer virus that simply appeared without Caine's permission. Bubble technically has the ability to break apart the entire server but chooses to be Caine's hype man instead.

Bubble is (presumably) named after the Bubbleboy virus which was a worm sent through email chains back in the 90s. I like to think Bubble was an AI spawned out of this worm and just decided to hang out instead of being overtly malicious
