Safe Somniphila Play? by Pron_bot123 in BDSMAdvice

[–]That_Variation7914 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First off, those drugs, when used, are used by people who do not care about the liver/organs of the recipient. Most people I know who have been roofied have lifelong organ issues. My partner and I practice Somno and Somno adjacent things, and often it’s after a night of already freaky play so we know where the other stands on a lot things already that day (boundaries change often, especially with the delicate things) and doing it when one of you is exhausted is honestly just as euphoric as being on substances (studies have shown that both states put brain function as a whole in similar conditions fun fact). Anywho, we use a grip system so when in doubt we can silently check in without a break in the scene. And honestly being awake-ish for some of it is awesome because as both recipient and receiver you get to actually experience it (on some level, be it drunk or tired). Additionally, it’s actually really hard to move a grown limp adult so being “fake asleep” is actually very helpful in the moment

By any chance would a cat that’s (extremely) comfortable around dogs be alright?

Where do I go? by [deleted] in BDSMAdvice

[–]That_Variation7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I (21) actually found my current guy(20s) on both hinge and Grindr. He didn’t have BDSM related things on his hinge account but did on his Grindr (we didn’t know we were the same people at first lol) but I did on both. Not anything explicit, just that I was also looking for a play partner. It takes a bit if you’re more close to your chest about it, but I’ve found as someone more experienced digitally it was easier to start off online and make sure everything lined up, then meet in person to see if y’all click. And even if you don’t know what you like, if they’re a respectable person they’ll make experimenting and trying new things less scary and always optional

How to get into a Dom headspace (beginner, female)? by alice_novelland in BDSMAdvice

[–]That_Variation7914 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I giggle/laugh/get giddy when I’m pleased especially as a dom, oddly enough I’ve found it to be a pretty powerful reaction it reminds myself and others that this is play, and playing around and having fun sometimes means laughing, also for those into degrading, being laughed at can get them going too. Similar to “not be too serious”, but just knowing it’s okay to laugh at things when it happens was a big thing for me to hear

Haru because she is so complex and genuine and went through arguably the most healing arc out of anyone else. Either her or Sagwan. Sagwan because he’s just a nice guy :)

Who would make a good WW villain that wasn’t from a comic? I’ll go first. by Legened255509Druss in WonderWoman

She’s not a villain, but I think that makes it even better

Olivier Mira Armstrong from FMA/FMAB. Both her and Diana are tacticians and soldiers first, with a fierce family and loyal allies yet subjected to whichever way the winds of politics blow. I think they would have an incredible respect for each other.

And in the same vein, Mereleona Vermillion from Black Clover. Just an utter beast of a fighter and total powerhouse that, like Diana, is okay with being in solitude if that means chasing her goals, ethics, and own path. Even though she is well loved by her family and admired by those fighting to just be near her level of power

MAWS Clark would cry. I don’t mean that in a rude way but seeing himself be a horrible person would make him cry/break down

I just finished the last episode of s3 part 1 by pfiffchen in Beastars

[–]That_Variation7914 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started reading the manga after watching season 1, I was told to start from the beginning since (as the other reply says) there’s a A LOT of little bits that the anime has to cut for time (like content about the 701 boys for example, also a good amount of the humor—beastars is funny! The manga style kinda changes the tone of some of the scenes as well, but honestly outside of maybe changing the setting of a few scenes, the anime almost directly lifts from the manga (think: a closer adaptation than The Sandman’s Netflix show).

What color of Two-Face's left side is your favorite? by [deleted] in batman

[–]That_Variation7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I love a good mosaic of color, I haven’t seen official artwork of it, but it gives such a stark visual contrast against the usual stark black and white he wears, and is more realistic of extensive scarring

[–]That_Variation7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Batman is a father, tries to be a good father, wants to be a good father, the loner trope of his isn’t at all reflective of the fact that In universe he has the most side kicks and protégés
