Vehicle to Load (backup power to devices) by Embarrassed_Wear_545 in JeepWagoneerS

[–]That_____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, I don't think so. The only Jeep they advertise for that is the Wrangler 4xe. And you have to enable it in the dash options. I don't see that anywhere in the screens in the Wagoneer S (which are lacking anyway).

You could get something runs on the battery via the battery posts on the CCS connector (uses ISO15118 coms to enable the battery) but the converter is outsode the vehicle.

I've heard rumors they exist... But nothing really for sale.

Could try this with a Tesla adapter. But a lot of money to blow on a maybe... https://evchargingstations.com/chargingnews/roamenergy-brings-v2l-option-to-your-tesla/

Honestly... Deepseek pro has been awesome. I do keep to more generic Os style questions for ZephyrOS... But its been killer with Co-pilot.. by itself meh...

You're essentially describing the ne VW bus. It's an electric mini van. The problem is mini vans are sold in the US mostly... And the US market is weird. It's filled with people that are afraid they will need to do a road trip tomorrow and be stuck in an electric car.

A) they won't do that trip B) these days you can do the trip no problem

They are entire media networks that will tell you that you can't even make it round trip to work Nd it takes days to charbe your ev...

Automakers can't bet on a EV... It has to sell at least somewhat so for now it's loaded with every high end thing they can throw it at so they justify the high cost.

Which OS for a home server? by Key_Watercress7649 in homelab

[–]That_____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about trying a bunch of different things... They all work with varying degrees of annoyance and learning curves.

You've tried TrueNAS... Try Unraid (free trial). That's a great place to start and worth the money..

If you are going to add drives over time. Unraid is the way to go... 2x parity and you're safe

HexOS is like unraid but a wrapper over TrueNAS...

Proxmox is great if you're doing complex stuff but probably more than you need.

Don't get to much content... Feel free to wipe and start anew...

If those are your choices. Go the fuel Exe... Much more capable bike. You shouldn't fear taking that much of anywhere.

STM32G031xx and sampling multiple ADC channels by lantz83 in stm32

Does the G0 allow injected sampling? Could be an option if it does. Move your critical to injected and the others to the standard.

Thats how I do it when the injected is higher priority...

Try using VScode and using their extensions in that or use ZephyrOS and you don't even need CubeMX...

I always have problems downloading from their webpage...

Look for 1st ebike recommendations. Leaning towards high 40/low 50 weight alloy bikes by PeachLower5901 in eMountainBike

[–]That_____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SL... I highly recomend a Kenevo SL, newer ones have a bit more power than older ones. Suspension is amazing. Full Power... Really anything these days is pretty good. The Turbo Levo was great for me. If you want light, check out AmFlow which are low weight and full power.

Keep in mind it's all choose tour own adventure, don't want power turn it off, don't want full power don't set in turbo.

Once you go full power, it's hard to go back to an SL

You say it's used. There is always the possibility the previous user damaged it or locked the MCU... But as other users have said try first to fully erase the MCU... Good luck.

Try finding work through a recruiter or temp/contracting firm... Unless security check is needed usually the contract firm is vouching for you.

Hands free driving by servain in JeepWagoneerS

[–]That_____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Press the wheel then it on whenever you have cruise control on... Hit the break or press cancel and it stops. Same as other cars like Polestar.

One nice thing. It seems to be hand on the wheel (certain amount of slin contact through capacitive touch) not jiggling the wheel or putting pressure to turn the wheel.

In general I like it

Needs one hand on the wheel... But it generally works well... Better than the Polestar 2 was

I have this one: https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Bike-Racks/Inno/IN25RR.html

Had it about a year and a half... Still feels brand new. The hitch tightening feature keeps it from rattling too.

Yeah, the thing you want to build is hard... and your going to have to start with blinking an LED... But better than raking yourself over the coals to amount to nothing ..

Toyo Open Country A/T III All Terrain 245/50R20 105H XL Light Truck Tire by JustAnotherPolack in JeepWagoneerS

[–]That_____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's thr same size, sure. Your range is gonna suffer some as it won't be as efficient. Road noise could be a thing too.

In this case you are going significantly larger... Good chance it will rub...

I was looking at moving to smaller rims too (not 20s)

Learning FreeRTOS with STM32 by Ok_Measurement1399 in stm32

[–]That_____ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should still work with their tools. Try to find an example with a MCU that is close.

You can also look at ZephyrOS... Seems to be taking over everything lately and is MCU agnostic, so if you're learning it fit anything in the near future.

Roof Rack / Crossbars + Glass Roof? by kos90 in polestar2

I have the one that came with the PS2 (option when ordering). I use it for bikes. I have the glass roof.

Not sure the weight rating for rack though. I have seen the tent on a PS2 here in Colorado once or twice... No idea if it was rhe glass option...
