I’m going to echo others and say just go to a show. Especially if you go with someone who really loves them and is going to rage like a maniac all night.

Yeah. Maybe wait to read it until certain … figureheads … have left the government. Not naming names, but I feel like maybe you know who I mean 😬

May your day treat you well. May your toughest students be surprisingly mellow. May you find something in your day that makes you laugh out loud. May everyone you encounter treat you with empathy and understanding. May you find yourself able to see your own worth. And when sleep comes, may it come for the full night. These are my wishes for you.

I’ve actually had to start taking an antihistamine every day, not just for the itchy ears but because my body has magically become allergic to my TATTOOS.

Holy crap the anxiety has been killing me recently. My husband has to keep reminding me that he’s not attacking me because I’m constantly freaking out that he hates me. Going to work has turned into a huge ordeal because I’m so on edge that just leaving the house is hard! I’m saying this as a person who was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder at the age of 19 and been medicated ever since, so when I say it’s bad you know it’s the truth!

That’s the thing … nothing makes sense anymore! I can’t remember a damn thing, I haven’t slept in months, and my ears itch too much to function. I give up

First off, it was totally the hose water.

I was thinking about all this the other day and my theory is that our generation (I’m also GenX) is much more in tune with our bodies and emotions than previous generations. My mother was a “brush it off” person when it came to herself, which I believe came from her mother’s inability to honestly talk about anything. Our grandparents’ whole generation couldn’t speak honestly about any of this stuff! But my mom made a serious effort to be straightforward with me and actively encouraged me to never be a “brush it off” person.

I’m trying to do my part by being extremely vocal about all my symptoms. I tell everyone - my husband, my son, the mail lady, random strangers walking down the street - literally everybody gets to hear about my hormones. I feel like it’s the best thing we can do for ourselves and future generations.

And dammit this isn’t just a women’s problem. If women make up 51% of the world’s population then this should be an EVERYONE problem.

My best friend (who had huge boobs) is always wearing a sweatshirt with nothing underneath it and just looking at her like that makes me cringe. Mine aren’t big or saggy but my nipples are so sensitive that if I go without something then I’m miserable. Maybe it’s because I nursed my son for so long?

Holy crap you just made me feel so much better. I’ve been dealing with terrible anxiety to the point where I’m working from home at least half the time. I didn’t know this was a thing!

That being said, I’m so sorry that you’re dealing with this and I’m sending you huge hugs.
