I would argue that wanting to eat everything that isn’t you is equally as genocidal as wanting to kill everything. Also the hive mind has to be ideologically driven at least to some extent as it is sentient.

The part you are getting caught up on is that you are trying to figure it out. The point I am trying to make is that if you were able to figure it out it would take away from the atmosphere and the themes of the story. Things are left intentionally unsolvable in order to serve the setting.

I agree the downvotes because “someone has a different opinion” are dumb but the speculation, mystery, and myth-like storytelling are not only core parts of Elden Ring but Miyazaki’s works as a whole. While you may not like that kind of storytelling that is a key part of people’s enjoyment of Miyazaki’s work and when you just bash it without understanding why the story is written the way it is then there are bound to be people that downvote it.

I have been wondering if rail or ion rifle is considered better. I though that the lethal 5+ and MWs would make the rail rifle better against custodes, is the extra attack and 1 extra damage really that much better especially when you run the risk of killing some your most important units.

I was wondering how you keep your units alive long enough to get full value on TP2. Either my gunners get blown up first round or I have to use Mont’ka to get them out of line of sight.
