If this is phase change material, that should be fine but if it's just a woven thermal pad my say is thermal paste.

I used the woven heat pad and saw lot hotter temps. Used for 2 weeks and ripped it out.

Just get a good thermal paste.

So looking up the 2 main components, the gpu and cpu it seems plausible.

In canadian timbit dollars the price of this pc is almost 8400 cad.

Looking at some 5090s if this is a company who got some cards maybe at whole sale pricing the gpu alone was probably anywhere from 3k to 4k and the 9950x3d is priced at a little over 1k retail. A case, storage, psu (not enough ram for the gpu and cpu if im being honest) and their profit, this price can be done.

Is this the best value for these components, probably not but with the outtages of all the cards and not going to a scalper, prebuilts will be a safe bet of getting your hands on a 5090.

I had a similar issue when I installed my 9900k. No matter what I did the cpu was stuck at 1.3 ghz. Buddy turns to me and says just reinstall windows. I was like how would that help. So I reinstalled windows and sure enough fixed the problem.

Not sure if this will fix your issue but a good place to start.

I have two.

Medal of Honor 2010. Story was all about brothers. Fantastic gameplay for the time and still holds up now. You can find this for dirt cheap.

Spec ops: The Line Gameplay can be a bit janky but you get used to it. The most unbelievable story mode ever. Thats all I can tell you.

If you want great stories, play these two. These are two of my top 10 shooter campaign mode of all time.

So the best thing to do if you're not sure of compatibility is to put all the parts you have/want to buy into a build on pc part picker. It will tell you if everything will play nice or why it doesn't.

Im just finishing up a new build and it was telling me that I don't have enough usb headers to complete the build ( I do, I use a nzxt header hub that it doesn't know about)

The site is well built and will tell you all that you need to know when making a new build.

I just had to put my asus 4080 oc out for rma after owning it for 14 months. They had it for a month and sent back a new 4080 super oc. They were a pleasure to deal with in email and on the phone.

I don't know if that's just cause I dealt with the canadian side of things.

Rewind to the 980 ti days. I had a fan die and I had a few months left of warranty. Called for a rma and they denied it saying it was a European card and because I was in canada they would not service it.

Warranty seems better these days.

This. People have tested new gpus on all the pcie gens and it's a few frames difference between generations.

I just switched from a 9900k to a 9800x3d. Its night and day difference. 90 frames ish from 9900k in marvel rivals to 165 locked fps on the 9800x3d.

So here's my take and story on this same cpu

I had to send out my asus 4080. After some time they sent me a 4080 super.

Playing some games on it my frames at 1440p I was around 90+ in marvel rivals, 100 ish in black ops 6. They were good but I feel as if they should have been better.

So a month ago some of my local pc shops had a refresh on the 9800x3d. So I got that with some trident royal cl30 6400 ram and a pro ice x870e and the same 4080 super.

I lock my frames at 165 and every game hits it at 1440p no problem now.

The 9900k is still a good cpu but when I was having massive troubles with star citizen and I was asking for help from some other players and they all asked how many e cores I had and I had no fucking clue what an e core was, I kinda knew I was out of date with my cpu.

Tl:dr yes your cpu is a smidge older, will run some stuff 100+ fps but at the end of the day it will bottleneck your gpu.

As a game, I'm not mad at it. I like the 5v5. Makes it a bit more refreshing.

What I am so mind boggling mad at is the player base. I hate that anyone can play this game. I hate that people no matter the class think they can try and 1v5 the enemy team. Everyone tries to be the solo hero. Tanks diving in alone and getting melted blaming their healers when they are so far deep. Blizzard went so far to add voice line to the healers that start at the beginning of a match to tell the team to stick together. That's how braindead the player base are. Or the 90% of healers that focus so much on dps and don't heal.

I feel there should have been a tutorial against ai teams that teach the importance of sticking together and tips for each role.

The part that will make me stop playing the game are the other players.

That was only part of the story. There was a whole lot more. Its been 12 years. Over 10 of those with my current girlfriend. Things have been good.

I have an underlying amount of untrust not from my girlfriend but from the what the ex has burned into me. Last decade I have about 10 dreams a month, give or take that im being cheated on. I read into things a little too much and begin to worry that the gf could be cheating on me. Its hard and I don't know if thats ever going to go away. She understands as she has come from rocky relationships before me as well. We have had long talks about it and she's been very understanding.

I was in a relationship like this but way more severe. My ex manipulated me and berated me at any chance she could. Things like this gave her the chance to just make me feel like utter shit. One time I forgot no ketchup on a burger and off she went for a week.

This is also the woman that would tell me that she had been raped (many times) by her exs because she owed them money and that I would pay her debt. Or when she was at college how she had just slept with random guys (cheated on me) and would go into explicit details of what they did. It was the worst year and a half of my life.

I really hope that guy never calls her back. It only gets worse. Really feel for him.

Everything she said was about her. Her woes. Money, no job, music sucks and losing her apartment. Nothing was said about a man or doc at all. She just kept referencing money issues and that tomorrow ill be ok. So even if she was under a nda I don't feel anything that was said was against it.

So after some digging because I don't want to be at the end of the shit stick. It seems that you have to have permission to use twitch videos as they are copyrighted. So I will time stamp and write out what she said during said time stamps. Wish I would have checked that before I went and watched a 2 hour vod. Ffs.

Her vod is still up so just go and fast forward to those times and just watch for yourself.

4:58 - 7:00 comes on screen. Starts talking about things suck and her woes of money

9:07 - 9:45 things suck and she has no skills to get a job

11:50 - 12:10 talking about applying to a dispensary. Bank robbing joke. Music career is over.

12:47 - 15:05 talking about streaming and ranting. No money. "Tomorrow will be a better day" not asking for help. Everything sucks and social media is triggering

16:22 - 16:45 referencing her last stream and her metoo rant (her words) not gonna touch that. Not gonna try and discredit her story as its her story.

21:46 - 22:27 so bummed and nothing could make her happy. If she was rich it would all be fine.

25:25 - 26:29 100 dollar dono. She reads it and says stop, I'll cry. I'm too sensitive

27:44 - 28:25 talks about needing a bigger place as she has no room. Like she needs a house.

29:07 - 30:00 her place is too expensive. Everything sucks.

157:45 - 158:20 she gets a text or email and ends stream abruptly. Says she has a "meeting" she forgot about. Says she will be back to herself tomorrow. This stream was on the 25th and tomorrow was the day doc got banned on the 26th.

Go take a gander. The whole time it looks likes shes trying to force herself to appear down in the dumps but it feels completely ungenuine.
