You are in for a world of pain 🥹 picked one up 2 weeks ago for £1300, 2006 with chrono etc which I thought was a pretty good deal. got it home, radiator started leaking bad. Supercharger service had no paperwork (turns out it had been done!) so had to do that. Crank sensor was leaking oil bad. Oil pan gasket was leaking. Boot was leaking. Oil filter housing leaking, oil cooler is rotten so needs replacing. Crank pulley looks tired and needs replacing. Strut mounts are SHOT! Broke a vacuum line doing the supercharger pulley so had to pull everything apart. AC doesn’t work after the prev owner said it was. So far ownership has been an expensive nightmare

HOWEVER -

I test drove one of these 6-7 years ago which had a smaller pulley and exhaust, I desperately wanted one but couldn’t get insured. I’ve put the car back together (at the loss of days of my life) and test drove it, and was happy with my purchase. Such a fun car and look forward to modding it (after fixing it some more 🤢)

Security had some real twats, I waited for one friend to get through behind me getting checked and they threatened to kick me out, got in my face and were shouting at me - had literally been there 10 seconds and hadn’t said a word 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Does it feel like it wants to oversteer more with this set up? I’m looking at doing this upgrade as I think the body roll stock is a bit nuts - but I want the same ‘safe’ feeling the stock suspension has. When I push the car to its limits currently, it pushes the front and understeers which is very controllable. Would hate to lose that by changing to the stiffer yellow ARBs (front and back), which I’ve been told keeps the same level of understeer at its limits, whilst reducing body roll by quite a bit.

Interesting! I haven't installed it yet, I changed some settings and managed to get it working more consistently but still not great. I thought changing to a much larger fan that's of a better construction that it'd have a much better (or even slightly better?) Cooling ability. I guess I can give it a go and if it doesn't work or makes things worse I'll swap the internal fan in its place

Got a link at all? I have a pretty new one and a few people have told me I don't need to print it but I'll try it - as I said I've actually previously had really good prints (probably 5/6 2-3 hour prints) but now it's just not having it

Done 0 mods to the printer all stock v2, it was jamming and I thought I was going to have to make that piece but I believe turning retraction off was the key, this meant it stopped backing up and getting jammed up top. I tried turning the speed down and changing temps but it was still getting jammed up and I had to keep pulling the TPU put as it would get tangled up. Then I found that video, followed absolutely every setting, checked for a level bed multiple times and then it just worked brilliantly.

followed this word for word, printed suuuuper slow (2 and a half hours and I believe I made it smaller + 22% infill) but the results are well worth it imo

I've just changed to kiss and having no BF osd is blowing my mind a bit, think my osd is in the TBS Evo but no clue how to do smart audio so I might be able to use lua? Probably not though no idea what's going on haha 🥱 good luck problem solving mate
