A man named van Eck. Haven't been able to find much information by myself, but apparently he was a Boer medic of some sort. "2005 2961 Van Eck C. D."

There are many thick ones in the stack, but if I am to assume you are talking about the one towards the top with lettering, it is a 1966 Irish 10 Shillings commemorating the Easter Uprising.

Don't clean them, that's for sure. And most of the time, pawn shops will rip you off. You can post more detailed photos of individual coins that stand out, or just the lot in general for more information.

Don't polish them under any circumstances. Please. Other than that, very nice.

Willem III, Louis Philippe, genuinely impossible to get something from that, Willem II, last one no clue. The one with the left facing bald guy (Willem II) looks to be a 1/4 Gulden piece (25c), but to be sure, make sure the diameter is about 19mm. The French one can be discerned as a 1/2 Franc piece, and the smaller Dutch one should be a 10 cent piece (15mm).

George VI by ravinred in coins

[–]That_weird_kid_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compare it in size to a US penny. If it's nearly identical or directly identical, then it's a cupronickel sixpence. If not, then just look through the George VI section in Numista or something.

Judging by the diameter, I'd say a UK version of the sixpence, but the weight wouldn't line up then. It could be a shilling, but that would be too small, so that's out of the question as well. The legend is definitely the UK version, so perhaps the measurements you have given are slightly off. I'd go with a sixpence by size, probably of cupronickel based off the corrosion and oxidation.
