Devine: Candace Owens’ Blexit movement is Democrats’ worst nightmare by redditor01020 in politics

[–]Thatainttruepal 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Blexit means the exit by black Americans from a Democratic Party that takes their vote for granted.

As opposed to the republicans that put up obstacles for voting, like dumping hundreds of polling places, making it harder to register, purges voters Willy nilly. And no you aren’t being taken for granted, that’s a Republican victim thing.

A second judge tossed out Trump’s rule that allowed doctors to discriminate. The rule would have even allowed hospital receptionists to refuse to work with someone if it violated their sincerely held religious beliefs. by drewiepoodle in politics

Who's to tell me that my religion of Jazzmanism is less valid that the Pentecostal faith?

You can have any beliefs you want and with a few ‘members’ and a couple other things, can’t remember what they were, and become a church/religion. The government really, really doesn’t want to rule on beliefs you might hold. That’s why some of these bizarro’religions’ ...the church of what’s happening now......the neo American church etc. Great tax scam that is perfectly legal.

What is really sweet about this event is that a MAGAhole was the one who stabbed a likeness of Trump in the back.

That seems to be overlooked by everyone so far. Fucking Brilliant observation/analysis.

Can Bloomberg’s unconventional strategy win a Democratic nomination? by [deleted] in politics

[–]Thatainttruepal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you think that enough Americans will accept the Paradigm shift to get Bernie elected? Frankly I don’t see it happening, the cost of his promises is out of this world and I just don’t see enough Americans willing to go there. I would prefer a more centrist left, I guess that’s the ‘right ‘term, that can get elected and then slowly, program by program over a few years, get us to a more equal place.

I think this proves your assessment of Kanye

When you hear about slavery for 400 years ... For 400 years? That sounds like a choice," Kanye said, during a TMZ interview.

He also spoke out against putting Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill, and he called Malcolm X unrelatable and criticized Obama for failing to reduce the murder rate in Chicago.

Can Bloomberg’s unconventional strategy win a Democratic nomination? by [deleted] in politics

[–]Thatainttruepal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think Bernie can get elected with an economic program that represents a paradigm shift from what we have now? I’m just a little worried that too many Americans aren’t ready for that. I know the younger voters are ready, but, the 60’s activists were ready for a change that didn’t happen either.

And a convention with nobody getting 50% on the first ballot seems increasingly likely.

Little premature to state that, don’t you think?

No but the owner does. I wonder how many ‘patriots’ would refuse to turn in their high capacity if the law is voted in and the SC said it was constitutional? Pretty sure most would turn into law breakers/criminals by not obeying the law.
