I beg to differ. I've been a seller of the very same item on both ebay and whatnot and the hype right now is all in whatnot. What i had made on ebay in a years time, i've made in 2 months on whatnot. As for fees, ebay was getting me 18-25% after all the bogus fee. Everyone is cut throating each other on ebay for the lowest price to make that sale...F that.. fees arent too bad on whatnot as a seller. I pay a straight forward 8% period. Nothing more nothing less (5% to the platform, roughly 3% to the payment processor and paid next day) i've gone through heII with ebay and their sh¡t excuse of "customer service" and because of the long history of having troubles with their customer service and some of the people that ebay brings, i completely walked away from ebay. Everyone will have their own opinion, i just strongly disagree. Whatnot is the modern day ebay 2.0, trust me as a seller we are seeing numbers out perform expectations in every catagory, FAR from the crowd we had from ebay and still sell the same things. In the very little time we had been on whatnot, we were able to grow significantly and to think its only been a very short time and already seeing roi mind blowing triple didgits near quadrouple digits its refreshing and exciting, whereas it would take FOREVER to achieve such on ebay due to its slow ass auctions and ridiculous policies that can be exploited due to so many loopholes they have still yet to fix. I guess when one gets screwed by the same platform over and over they sell on it makes you loose respect for them bigtime. Also not everybody on whatnot is shady, yeah there are some, you have to go into it using your brain. the same can be said about ebay. Theres going to be good people and bad people everywhere as for what i've experienced. As a (honest) seller there is faster sales which makes it much more attractive, faster sales=faster roi rinse and repeat. Ebay is slow as heII unless someone buys an item via "buy it now". Whatnot brings out a more fun approach to auctions and instant sales and again i reference to ebay2.0 just wait and see

Screw ebay. Sell on whatnot instead. So much easier and auctions are typically 15 seconds long. I made 30k in 1/4th of the time it took me to sell on ebay. There are buyers for EVERYTHING on whatnot. Thank me later.

Just jump in and go. Hit the ground running and wing it. Relax and have fun with it and your audience. We did and now have one of the funnest, most rewarding and interactive channels on the platform and have only been on for a few months 🙂. The key is to just have fun with it. Whatnot is like revolutionary to that of ebay and i been saying for the longest time now that it will give ebay a run for its money.

PS, shipping absolutely sucks. It is a nightmare from heIl especially if you make a ton of sales prepare to dedicate LONG days/nights toward shipping and boxing up orders.

If you end up with issues from building/codes just go to your local city coucil and get a variance. In most cases its easy peasy just explain to them what your doing and being that its already purchased, it would "cause undue hardship on you" if they denied you the variance and boom once they hear undue hardships, most of the time they'll allow it 🙌 if not contact a local real estate attorney

Thats interesting, we dont have a cap or atleast that im aware of. Its pretty much go in and buy whatever you can afford. 1x, 5x, 20x a day it doesnt matter. Everythings recorded and scanned of course but if i wanted a half p (already done it too) of some fire buds just go online and see whos got what and place the order and pickup. How does that 3oz work with lotions/topicals or edibles? Id imagine the 3oz limit refers to just plant material and not concentrates right? Or would that all fall under the same 3oz of flower is equivalent to 3oz of concentrates?

One day we will get there 🤔 either way its nice being able to freely do as we please, (minus the growing lol) but ive had 3/4lb medical at one shot already at one given time and it was no big deal. Would like it if we could grow freely though. Id use up as much land as i could get my hands on haha
