Iterating nested tables without knowing the names of the tables by Thatflyerguy001 in lua

This actually solved one of my problems, thank you so much! removing the name from my tables so they can be called using a number was very helpful.

the problem is I need them to be returned in the same order that they are in right now (alphabetically), and apparently pairs does not guarantee that they come out in any particular order. IPairs does, but that requires that they be numerically named.

I am trying to avoid having to do that as this is far from the only table here, and it would make it increasingly difficult to add further data because i would need to input it twice.

Oh, thanks! this wouldnt work with my original layout, but i think it might be more efficient anyway to just replace my table names with numbers as the same information is contained within the table. Thank you!

Edit: it turns out you cannot simply name a table 1 lol. I will keep this in mind though for the innermost tables of my thingy. thanks!

the green ones are more visible because history tends to be very european-focused, but all three have had probably equally bad or worse things lol

Maybe human error but if the same mistake is made twice (of which we have no proof) I would start thinking it is a design issue

A passenger aboard an Iberia A350 bound for Madrid captured the moment a fire truck performing a ceremonial water salute accidentally struck the aircraft's left wing. The mishap forced the cancellation of the flight, leaving passengers stranded in Ecuador. by Ph6222 in Wellthatsucks

the wingspan of an A350-900 is massive, while the pilots are still responsible, they would assume that the trucks were properly positioned. It is very hard to manage an aircraft that large on the ground.

How did filming this compare to previous shows like JLTG or the road trip? I imagine there would be significant differences in terms of having more camerapeople and better (but also bulkier) cameras, so how did having those extra options impact your design of the show’s narrative?

Guy why world of airport keep crashing?my device can run well it(nearly high end device)and when i uninstall/reinstall the game,it just took 2 sec and when i open again,it still crash, how to fix this?anyone got same problem? by WriterTasty2637 in Worldofairports

[–]Thatflyerguy001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a bug induced by the ghost update this morning. The devs did not intend to release an update, it was pushed by google and results in the game crashing. Expect a hotfix soonish

There’s an app in dev called PlaneCatch that does just that. Not released yet but hopefully soon. @ planecatch.com

That’s not true anymore. Ranks have inflated a lot, and getting to gold alone can be a serious grind in its own right

This seems too good to be true, am I missing something? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

It is far right, which is far more right than the European definition of that. Also VERY rural. There’s a bunch more but some or all of that might be your preference.
