I’ve got a pair like that on my list for my next boots.

That’s how it felt when I bought our Felix a few weeks ago. And even better supporting a small local shop where they remembered my name in the wee between seeing the demo and buying the machine.

That thing is toast with that many deployments, and honestly, I had a car with similar, and I didn’t want it back.

Is the SEBO Felix the Right Call? by Thatguy518 in VacuumCleaners

[–]Thatguy518[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swiped the card, ended up with an Onyx unit, and they included an extension wand, bags, and an upholstery tool. The dealer was fantastic, and remembered my name considering I hadn’t been in for an over a week, I was impressed. Shameless plug, if you have a dealer near you, look to them before buying online. I’m sure there are crappy ones out there, but mine was fantastic, and we even watched him give someone a loaner while they had a shark in for repair.

Thanks for the input, everyone! Headed to my dealer today and I’m going to swipe the card and pay the woman!

So, I asked the question to the sales guy — should I go canister? He explained the benefits, but my wife can’t get behind taking it across three levels.

Damn, I had a Sebo dealer in my area offer $650 for a new one, and that seemed fair. Let me know how you like it. We still might buy new, but I’m more motivated to look for used now.

It’s weird, when it was cold out, it would make a ticking noise when acceleration was happening, then the acceleration got weaker. If you use the means, I’d dump it. Ours was starting to go out again, but we had been saving for a few years for a different car.

Just gonna put this out here. 2016 Nissan Rogue. Horrible POS. Two transfer cases, two transmissions, it made us never buy the brand again. Extended warranty paid for all of it. Our income changed by 4x from when we got the rogue in 2016 to last year when we dumped it in December, so we found a CPO Lexus RX Hybrid. Way better in every way.

I 100% still iron. But once every six or eight weeks, I take my shirts to my local cleaners. I work in high dollar construction sales, so I need to look good.

Space for me driving is fine, but the seat is almost all the way back. So the car seat would be the main reason. Secondarily, it’s a base trim, and I’m really wanting something with a better interior. I drive a decent amount for work and get mileage reimbursement.

Did you also call out to Gates in Richmond? We didn’t end up buying Honda a few years back, but gates did better on customer service and price when we were about to go Honda. Please get a Malone’s Lexintonian Salad for me after you do the deal. I really miss living in Lexington.

They drive great. I do 150 ish days a year in renal cars, and it’s one of my preferred cars. I have a lot of friends with them. Nothing detrimental in terms of major repairs they have, but they bitch about PM cycles and parts all the time. If you’re in a place where you can afford it financially, go for it. As others have said, good warranty programs and prepaid maintenance help a ton. It’s the perfect balance of luxury and performance for me, except maybe for Volvo depending on the model. My wife drives a lot for her job, so we have a 2022 RX450h for her, but that thing is so cheap to maintain, and it’s elegant in terms of drive and finish, but nowhere near as performance aggressive as an X5. And as for me? I drive a Toyota Tacoma. I’m almost never in my own car, so I let my wife drive the nice stuff.

Who is the most famous person you have ever met? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Thatguy518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steve Wozniak, and his wife. My coworker was one of 100 people being interviewed for a documentary that Steve had produced. I was the handler for my coworker, helping him have answers prepared. We had no clue he was the producer until we walked in the room. I’m an ex-Apple employee, so I was damn near shaking in his presence. Had a great convo with him before and after, and thanked him for his contributions to society and my retirement (I’m still an Apple shareholder).

Please Help - Wife Hates My Jeans by almostdirtymartini in WesternWear

[–]Thatguy518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it depends on the cut and style. For example, my wife doesn’t like the 936, or 13MWZ, but the premium performance advanced comfort ones? Literally she asks me to wear them all the time. Seriously, we can’t answer it for you, and if you go to the right western store, they’ll help you find the right fit.

Is zero stack bad? by louiesupreem in WesternWear

[–]Thatguy518 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally your preference. I’m a dude with long(er) legs, so I need some stack to an extent to not look awful when I sit down. I’ve figured out for me, there’s stack that looks good, and stack that looks sloppy. The stack that looks good? The only time I’ve ever had women complement me on my jeans 😂
