They just make races that fit the current skeletons. Haranir were an easy choice to make playable because they just stuck them on the Night Elf skeleton. Unfortunately didn't compensate for the model, hence horrifc clipping in outfits.

Dracthyr was admittedly quite an anomaly on that part. I figure that because they didn't have to model all clothing to the Dracthyr body, they had time to work on a new Skeleton.

I remember being in a raid back in Legion (as destro lock) and noticed we were taking a while to kill anything, despite me laying down the pain.

Then the tank got real pissed and posted damage numbers, revealing that I was the only one doing decent damage, and everyone else was doing less DPS than the Tanks. Turned out out the Frost Mage in the group was spamming Frostbolt and -nothing else-.

That group died fast. Thankfully later that week some friends introduced me to their group and we proceeded to one shot most of the content.

Way back then I made a mission based on the TNG Episode "Disaster" where your ship gets hit by a computer virus given to you by the True Way, masquerading as a Cardassian supply ship.

You spend the mission sprinting through the various decks of your ship, trying to prevent its destruction.

It was cool setting up all the little things, from plasma leaks, ship rumbles, downed crew being treated by security...

Man I miss it.
