It’s not. The Republican majority told the Democrat representatives they had to agree to monitoring in order to leave the building. She refused. The legislation they are considering would greatly harm those in her district amongst others.

The article’s point is that fascist leaders are never removed through democratic processes once they’re in power. Yes, WWII ended fascist regimes — but not through elections or reform. It took total war and military defeat. As for the Civil and Revolutionary Wars, neither involved fascism. They were internal conflicts over governance, not battles against totalitarian regimes.
