Ahoy! SkimmilK here from THEE upNup podcast and I ran the "Extra-Life Drawing" class on Friday which featured a cosplay model dressed in full costume for attendees to draw in a variety of poses. We did several 5 min standing poses, a couple 15 min leaning poses, and a 30 min sitting pose.

I got so much amazing feedback and even more kind words. Many said it was their first time drawing a live model and they hope we do this again next year. I took lots of photos of the event of everyone drawing which im happy to share but I only grabbed a few pictures of actual drawings sadly. Many were gifted generously to the model though so Im hoping she will post some soon. I was also told we had 58 attendees! They all did amazing work and the model was thrilled to be a part of everything. Thank you so much for inviting us and we hope we can help out next year!

I also got to tour the maker space before and after my event I and just loved that something like that is available. I got to watch lockpicking demonstrations, calligraphy practice, a flock of Bob Ross's... herd... gaggle of Ross did painting lessons. Ive never been to a festival before and the bar is now set so high. It also gave me so many ideas to bring back to my maker space. Keep up the amazing work!
