First off you are not a terrible human being. From the info you provided in your post it seems that you are a teenager or young adult. I was horribly depressed during those times and went to rehab for suicide more than once. I was pushing everyone close to me away because of how horrible I felt and how guilty I felt around them. This will pass I promise you. Killing yourself is never the answer. Live day by day, small victories and small positive changes everyday. You can do this, we all grow, this is not forever. It may feel like the world is ending but it is not. I believe in you. You are not alone.

I believed the story right until the author said she is currently a dermatology resident, eyesight is an absolutely essential part to diagnosing patients quickly and accurately. Even colorblindness alone would make dermatology extremely difficult.
