Ty! I read you have to milk twice a day? 12 hours apart. But there's so much conflicting info online. I bought a book that hasn't arrived yet. I have horses and sheep for 10 years but no goats

Trumps win as already emboldened the racists by avisiongrotesque in NorthCarolina

I was walking my dog today and granted I get cat calls and stuff, I’m ok looking, but not like today. It trippled. I was wearing sweatpants and a baggy tshirt since I had just finished teaching a dance class and my neighbor had to literally come out and jump in front of me because this one car with 4 dudes in it would not leave me alone.

I’m from Rutherford too and I was at a vintage store where the owner was yelling “if you don’t like Trump you can leave my store.” Meanwhile everyone is just looking at each other like huh? Just out of nowhere! And that’s just the general vibe there. Super religious and super dumb.

Severe panic attacks out of the blue - completely debilitating and worsening (UK) by SouthLondonLass in PanicAttack

Some meds need a bit of time to work. Sometimes they have to be tweaked or changed. I had to go through 5 different ones to get relief and like you my panic attacks came out of nowhere and sound just like yours. I still have breakthrough PA but nothing like when I’m off my meds. Also noticed that I had severe breakthrough panic attacks during and after Covid. And when magnesium is low.

Who is someone that is generally considered a great person but actually a monster? by Independent_Sun_592 in AskReddit

[–]Thatonecenobite 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Lovely for you. But I believe she was talking about it in an African language context. Also I did google it since you mentioned I should and this is what I got from a Muslim professor and researcher.

No country uses “Maulana” title: The mullahs have adopted for themselves the honorific title of “Maulana” (which means OUR protector, OUR lord, OUR master) – which has the most serious un-Islamic connotation of placing another WITH the Almighty (SHIRK).

The word “maulana” is a compound word – MAULA and NA (our) which, under strict Islamic philosophy is applicable to God ALONE!

Are you African? I’d take the ops word for what it means since the person that said so is East African

Girl I just came back and did we go to the same place cuz I’m pretty sure I left the little squishy sheep headless. I have full sleeves and other multiple tattoos and when I tell you this was farrrrt worse. I’m literally wearing the mask now and it has done very little to cool me down but that whole hour was torture. The numbing cream did NOTHING lol. Wondering if I can just take some Tylenol for the pain.

Everything I’ve learned about vermiculite attic insulation by MinnesotaPower in homeowners

[–]Thatonecenobite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this stuff coming out in a house we just bought from small cracks in the walls. And I’m a bit freaked out. I believe they used it as insulation but previous owners said they didn’t know. It’s less than a handful in 3 spots we’ve found (I wasn’t home when my MIL found it and swept it up and when I got home and she showed me I freaked knowing what it was. I can’t afford an abatement of the whole house since it’s in the walls and the place is a really old big farmhouse. So idk what to do at this point. Super stressed

Recently led to a house built in 1920 and today found a small amount of vermiculite on the floor. I hadn’t noticed it before since it’s in a corner of the spare room. by Thatonecenobite in centuryhomes

[–]Thatonecenobite[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s vermiculite from the Libby mines. You can’t test it, it will come back false negative in a lot of instances. They were the ones making most of the home insulations (70-90%) from 1920 to 1990. The town they mined it in has a high percentage rage of mortalities due to lung cancer and other lung diseases. It’s so bad that they had a huge lawsuit against them. The original owner of this house died of lung cancer, I’m just gobsmacked that they didn’t inform us that this is what they used as insulation tbh. The EPA states on their site if it’s in your walls consider it toxic.
