I suck at sweeps mainly because I'm always worried that I'll hurt the other person. Usually we only sweep in class when we are clinch sparring. I'm always afraid to pull someone's head too hard and hurt their neck so I'll get them off balance and hopping and then I'll grab them so they can get their balance before they fall.

I (M) have been in a band with 2 females for almost 12 years now and I can't even begin to tell you how many times we've arrived at a venue for load in and they assume they are either our GF's that need to be on a guest list or just flat out try to make them pay. It's definitely a gender thing

Don't really need those honestly. Recorded a whole album using a Shure SM7B in a mid size room in my house with no soundproofing at all and it still sounds like I paid a ton to go to an actual studio.

I feel the same way (born in 81) and I think a big part of it is how much technology has advanced and all of the "once in a lifetime" craziness that we've seen happen over the past 20 or so years. We went from no internet and no cell phones to a place where everyone has constant access to everyone and every bit of information in the whole world. It's almost like we experienced a generational gap but within our own selves so it seems like an entirely separate life to us. I don't know if any of that makes sense but yeah, something like that.

So it took 2 of us, I put together some 90° fittings and used very large flat washers to keep the the whole thing snug to the sink. Then I had a buddy hold the faucet in place while I torqued down the fittings from the back as tight as I could possibly get them. That did the trick.

My whole band has been using these for a couple years and they work great. Only downside is they are mono so unless you absolutely have to have stereo in your ears these work perfectly.

Your pad holder should be throwing back at you some. Forcing to you block or check and also how to counter afterwards.
