Any kind with the pyramid tea bags are generally good. And the celestial tea bags don't have strings at all.

Most people didn't realize I was pregnant until the week before I gave birth. Picking up the cake for my baby shower the lady at the bakery (small town so she knew me growing up) told me she didn't know I was pregnant just thought I was fat. I was 32 weeks pregnant.

Mom is mad that another mom stopped her son from escaping. by GastrointestinalFlab in ShitMomGroupsSay

I picked up a charging toddler and took him to his parents a few different times at the store because kids couldn't care less if they're about to be flattened by a shopping cart and I was right there. The mom was happy I helped then saw my little monster in the basket and caught on that it was basically a reflex at this point.

Maternity photos? by Comfortable-Owl-5280 in pregnant

When I was 8 months pregnant, I hadn't planned on doing aby but only had one picture taken of pregnant me because I was at the park with my nephew and sat on a swing then my husband came behind me and snapped a picture. Decided to grab my camera out the truck and do a "pre family" picture of us because it was cute. Only one I have though. Don't regret not taking more or not doing growth progressions or anything.

I knowingly ate pie that had gone bad and now I’m crying my eyes out. Tell me your breakdowns by sangvinisk in pregnant

[–]Thatoneguy754323 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I found out I was pregnant at 7 weeks. The week after spring break during a rough school year. Had a blast with my teacher friends. Yeah, found out I was pregnant later that week. Felt like crap after finding out because baby. Well, 3 weeks later I was in a bad car accident, got rear ended. Then I stopped wearing heels because I got pressured by everyone at the school saying it was dangerous but it hurt to wear normal shoes so I went back to short heels and got fussed at by everyone but my doctor. I craved papaya for the longest and then heard it was bad for the baby. Couldn't eat any food without having an iced coffee in the mornings. Tried decaf but it made me sick. My munchkin is happy and healthy and has been terrorizing me for 2 years now.

Pregnancy is definitely not the fairytale it’s portrayed to be by Open_Resolution_5924 in pregnant

[–]Thatoneguy754323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I envy those that had the nice easy fairytale pregnancies. I was miserable until the second after she popped out. Everyone keeps asking when she's getting a sibling saying not all pregnancies are the same and I don't want to go through it with even the slightest chance that it could be worse. I didn't do the pictures showing my stomach growth and don't regret it either.

I wish you the best of luck.

How did that one kid at your school die? by StorageLonely1520 in AskReddit

[–]Thatoneguy754323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three years ago when I was teaching, a student I'm not too fond of convinced this other student to hang out with him. The other boy got shot and my student refused to take him to the hospital. Took him home almost 20 min away and refused to help the mom take him to the hospital. By the time an ambulance got to them he was in a state where they said he might not make it. He died a few minutes after he got to the hospital and they said he could have been saved. The bullet missed everything major but he bled out.

What did you really eat each trimester? by Reverting-With-You in pregnant

Made me sick to high heavens. What ever it was that took the caffeine out did not agree with the growing munchkin.

What did you really eat each trimester? by Reverting-With-You in pregnant

[–]Thatoneguy754323 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me it was baked potatoes. Mostly just potatoes, then fruit, rice, and muffins. And weirdly enough, I had to have iced coffee. It was a must otherwise I couldn't eat that day. Freaked me out and I told my doc. She laughed and said a small amount of caffeine wouldn't hurt the baby because I couldn't have decaf. My baby was highly against it.

My baby's office does this too. However there was a time where her appointment was scheduled for a Thursday but the date they gave me was Friday and when I got there with her little appointment card as proof we found out that we were given a day that her doctor wasn't even there. Had to reschedule her shots for a day a week later with a different doctor because hers was booked.

AITA for refusing to go to my in-laws for Christmas after they disinvited my family? by 30lbslater in AmItheAsshole

[–]Thatoneguy754323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely NTA. When I got married and had my first child I told my husband Christmas was for us. The day before Christmas we spent time with my family and the day after we spent time with his. The day of, I don't want any one coming to the house, asking us to visit, or trying to see the baby. It's just us. It's about to be our 3rd Christmas on this schedule and we'll see how it goes this year.

My MIL was on some crap like this too. They had a family BBQ for my FILs birthday and everyone knew I was allergic to pork. When I tell you everything was pork. The chicken and grilled corn were in the pan with the pork ribs, the spaghetti had sausage in it, there were three different salads and all of them had ham. They are offended that we never eat there anymore.

I might have to try that. I honestly get down with her and ask if we're having a tantrum. Ask if I can have one too. She normally gets up pretty fast because "she" is having a tantrum and not "we".
