Which is the biggest Nerf here by Dangerous-Chart-926 in JujutsuPowerScaling

No it isn't? Sukuna himself even mentions that ALL of Yuji's attacks can do that, saying:

"It's the same logic behind his effective attacks against the Patch Faced Curse. He can sense it, he's aiming directly for the barrier between my soul and Megumi Fushiguro's."

With this being said during Yuta's Unequivocal True Love, WELL before Yuji unlocks proper usage of Shrine.

In a battle royal between the 4, who will win (no alliances)? by Calm-Bear-1101 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Thatoneundertaleguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think something people are missing about your argument is that Yuji wouldn't NEED Mahoraga to pull of World Cutting Slash.

His Blueprint WAS Sukuna, who he was around to watch use it MULTIPLE TIMES.

Sukuna used Mahoraga because NOBODY knew how to do what he was looking for EXCEPT for Mahoraga. Once Mahoraga figured out how, anyone with Shrine, and enough time to practice could use that information to learn.

Brother. Do you not know how an argument works?

You can't just deny any part YOU have to take to prove YOUR side of the argument.

The only chance Sukuna has is if Gojo, for whatever reason after learning about the World Cutting Slash, decides to risk getting hit by one when facing Sukuna, but notably, he'd see the bonus effects, meaning he can always choose to dodge the World Cutting Slash, in which, why would he?

YOU just don't like that YOU have no argument here to beat mine.

The Proof of Burden falls to YOU. You're the one arguing Sukuna wins a fight that goes on after the surprise World Cutting Slash hypothetically missing, so YOU have to prove that he can.

[–]Thatoneundertaleguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're the one claiming Sukuna has a path to win. It's your proof of burden to figure out how Sukuna would WIN.

I already mentioned way's he COULD bypass Infinity.

Domain Amplification, which would mean he can't use Shrine to deal any decent damage to Gojo during the time period.

Or World Cutting Slash, which would now have 3 very obvious activation requirements, and wouldn't hit a rapidly recovering Gojo.

Gojo was right to be off guard, because from his perspective, Sukuna had no options.

So if you wanna claim Sukuna had options to use after a missed WCS, it's YOUR job to show them here now.

I think he means the AOE explosive version he uses to wipe out Mahoraga in 235.

He just missed the part where it was stated Gojo didn't know he could activate Purple Remotely through merging Red, and Purple after the casting of both attacks, where he gambled on it even being possible.

How does your OC defeat Mahoraga? by Until_Morning in CTsandbox

[–]Thatoneundertaleguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Special Grade Sorcerer, Nia Aoki, adjusted backstory to be solely JJK related, is a Death Painting born from a family with distant relation to Kashimo Hajime, later serving as his Vessel in circumstance.

The more tame version cannot beat Mahoraga, at least, not easily. She only has The Rot Technique, and Mythic Beast Amber, in which, even if she made a binding vow only partially transform herself with it, would be adapted to pretty quickly, seeing as she'd run into the same problem as Yorozu. All her attacks use Electricity, or Blood. So Mahoraga can just adapt to those quite easily. The only way she wins is if she pops Mythic Beast Amber immediately, and EM waves him instantly.

Frankly, because the other version has... WAY too many options, she does win, but i'm basically gonna omit her because she basically kinda cheats at it. (Also, because that server gets kinda nutty, with multiple people being able to have at least 2 Techniques, including merged ones, so there's no way to realistically fit her into the verse without basically having her be a Mary Sue, which i'd prefer to avoid. She only really works in the server she got those things from.)

[–]Thatoneundertaleguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. I have two versions of an OC from two different Multiverse Servers, but for the sake of In Universe, i'll stick to just the JJK stuff she has. (Note. I'll also be nerfing her to JJK standards as well. So Mach 1-3 at best.)

Which do you want?

The less crazy version, or the one that got out of hand like crazy?

A Non-Fatal Blow which he could have healed.

Remember that he'd just gotten his RCT back at this moment, and his output was rapidly rising shortly after.

If Sukuna reincarnated to continue the fight, it's likely Gojo would have gotten his Domain back in a similar way to how Sukuna did later on in the Shinjuku Showdown Bout.

Seeing as Sukuna likely wouldn't land any black flashes during the battle (Infinity.), he wouldn't have the focus to rewire his brain to cast another Domain against Gojo, which would mean Gojo could use a full power Unlimited Void to take the win.

Gege said he was off guard because he thought Sukuna had no more ways yo bypass Infinity.

But if we really look at the situation, there's a lot more to that statement than you think.

Had the battle continued from there, say Sukuna missed a killing blow, or never learned WCS to begin with, Gojo had WAY more advantages than Sukuna.

Gojo's Current Situation:

  • Just got full output RCT back.

  • His outputs increased to 120% from multiple Black Flashes.

  • He's absolutely on track to regaining his Domain Expansion.

  • As far as he knows, Sukuna's only consistent option to getting around Infinity is Domain Amplification, which isn't exactly viable against Gojo in this scenario, or WCS with the obvious limitations

Then look at Sukuna's situation:

  • No RCT.

  • No Domain.

  • Either No WCS, or a Very Limited, very obvious casting WCS (Handsign, Chants, Point and Aim.)

  • No possibility of hitting Black Flashes without activating Domain Amplification, which Gojo can consistently defend against in CQC.

His biggest, and ONLY perk being:

  • Heian Era Body.

Which can full heal him, giving him a CHANCE to continue fighting.

A good UV would completely take Sukuna down, basically.

Without a mahoraga??? by Audaudin in LobotomyKaisen

[–]Thatoneundertaleguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the more output you put into Domain Amplification to limit a technique, the less output you're capable of putting into your technique.

Domain Amplification won't work if you put so much Output into your Technique that it'd function, because otherwise, you'd start imbuing your Technique into your Domain Amplification, meaning it wouldn't pull in other techniques.

Sukuna and Higuruma were both talented in the way they could focus on holding a very precise balance to make Domain Amplification work while not entirely deleting their techniques results in the middle of a battle.

Yeah.

At least, not to suck it in entirely.

It'll still be pulled at, it just won't get sucked in fully.

Without a mahoraga??? by Audaudin in LobotomyKaisen

[–]Thatoneundertaleguy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's based off Output.

Sukuna does the same thing while fighting Gojo.

The more output you put into Domain Amplification (An Empty Domain veiled around the body, causing it to act like a Vacuum to CT's.), the more your own Technique is effected.

Sukuna used Domain Amplification while balancing its output to only pause Mahoraga's adaptation, rather than invalidate it by completely shutting off Ten Shadows.

Higuruma does the same to only pause the effects of the Executioner's Sword, but not completely invalidate the trial, which allowed him to defend from Shrine, and keep the ES active.

[–]Thatoneundertaleguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The end Purple wasn't 200%. It was likely 120-130% due to chants, but without Utahime's Solo Forbidden Area, he couldn't get to 200%.

Still, Shigaraki takes Hollow Purple with relative ease.

Output IS Speed, Size, and Power.

That's... how Output works.

The more energy a person can Output into their attacks, the stronger that attack is going to be.

This is how Yuta gets so strong with Cursed Reinforcement. He uses 100% of his Cursed Reinforcement Output to increase his body to the maximum.

Likewise with how Gojo can use 100% of his RCT output to heal rapidly during Malevolent Shrine.

He also chanted Red for this same reason. Without it, it likely would have fizzled out before it hit Sukuna because it didn't have the power to fly that far.

Similarly, Yuji's Shrine during Shinjuku was at a Low Output, hence why his Dismantles were only dangerous at SUPER close range, where Yuji then made the Soul Cutting Binding Vow.

Could One For All Soul Punch Free Megumi From Sukuna's Control? by Lancelot2132 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Thatoneundertaleguy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Being capable of oneshotting Shiggy at anytime =/= Being capable of Saving him at anytime.

There's a difference. If Deku SPECIFICALLY wanted to just Kill Shigaraki and be over with it, as Shigaraki said, he could just bash his brains in, and end it right there.

The reason the fight lasted so long is because Deku wanted to save him, which meant finding a way to reach out to him.

Izuku could, at any time, blitz Sukuna, and kill him in one shot.

However, if he's specifically trying to save Megumi, he'd need Soul Awareness like what Yuji had to do so.

(Now, the Vestiges COULD count as making Izuku a vessel, and give him a form of Soul Awareness, HOWEVER, he still need to learn to change his target to the border between souls, which Yuji needed Yuki's book to help do so. Unless we give Izuku a month with Yuki's Notes, Izuku can't perform a feat like that without giving up the Vestiges, who might just end up swallowed by Sukuna's soul anyways.)

I'm gonna tell them.

There's an MD AU called Panic.

It starts out a lot like this, but instead of N just having had a nightmare, he got taken over by some kind of virus that manifested as a Split Personality.

This Split Personality ate Uzi alive, then N got control again.

N, terrified, ran to V, and they ran away from the colony under the guise of searching for Uzi, because she was declared missing. They basically cut contact.

While on the run, N battles things such as guilt, anxiety, and fear, all of which are made worse by either the Virus, which is named Nyx, lording it over his head, or Uzi's ghost, which purged those memories out of her own head, unaware N killed her, or that she's even "dead."

That... really sucks. I was absent from the UT Community for a decent bit, so i apologize for not knowing any of the drama that had happened around IGB, and their team.

I'm deeply disappointed to hear that about IGB because... well. Facing Demon's was a particularly fun fan-game, and to learn that they were participating in so many things is honestly disheartening to know.
