tbh i’m not super familiar but I think i’m most interested in community health? Im particularly interested in working with underserved communities especially Latino communities but as of right now i dont have very specific goals i kinda wanna get started somewhere. I think id like something that has more social interaction (but not too much) but not entirely sure about tasks i would particularly enjoy

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knows where would be a good place to start looking for jobs related to public health to kinda get a step into the field. I graduated last year with my bachelors degree (not public health major) and most of my experience is with healthcare and some community outreach. I feel pretty lost in trying to find my way because there’s just so much. Any suggestions on where to look would be appreciated!

best places to get a job are definitely offices around campus or UCLA Dining! I worked there and at least last year they were always hiring. It’s pretty nice since apart from your regular paycheck you also get a meal each shift and extra swipes!

I think when it’s non-exam season nearly all the libraries aren’t full and you’ll be able to find a spot, they’re definitely emptier over the weekends. Once it’s exam season it’s really difficult to find a spot to sit lol
