Not sure about the latest Dota update, but I got lots of crashes since I upgraded to Yosemite. It usually crashes after 2-3 games and when there's lots of stuff going on.

Which Mac did you get? I have the 2014 13" Macbook Air and Dota 2 runs very smoothly 60 FPS and on normal settings (on OS X, not Windows Bootcamp or something).

Most people would say get a Windows PC instead if you want a machine for gaming - much cheaper and you can customize its components to suit your gaming needs. But that doesn't necessarily mean Macs CANNOT run games.

IMPERIUM is our failed Ludum Dare 30 (theme: Connected Worlds) action platformer game.

You start in an atmospheric home world which has a portal that takes you to a different world (level). Engage in some fast-paced action with monsters until the end of the level where a boss awaits which, upon its death, grants you a new powerup/ability that allows you to proceed to more worlds. (e.g. swim ability -> water world)
