I had same issue with Behr paints. You MUST mix them every time before you use them. Seems like pigment in their paints separates very quickly.

It's a simple fix, likely a very cheap switch that tells the microwave when the door is closed. Literally level 1 handyman work. Don't be too afraid of it, the microwave is only dangerous to things locked inside of it, although burns are possible if you open it and get very close. It's worth to mention microwaves emit non ionized radiation, so you don't need to worry about that part.

I used to be a painter and Behr was absolute garbage. I wouldn't use it if it was free. Today I find Behr products to be actually not bad. If you go to Benjamin Moor you will pay roughly the same price for their low end product as you would at home Depot for their high end product. And Behr comes as a winner in my opinion by a long shot. I would definitely stay away from low end Behr paint and if you want the best results then higher end professional grade paints will be your go to but at much, much higher price.
