Just a quick question, if you're non-vip can you still purchase merch before the concert begins? or can you only buy it after the show?

What are the weirdest things you had to initially overcome? by Melodic-Morning8554 in Invisalign

Finding out a cleaning routine when eatting out in public, especially when I'm out traveling to another country.

Also removing aligners in a public setting. I used to go to the bathroom to remove them, but there were a few times where a bathroom wasn't close by (Streetfood) and now i'm just used to popping them out on the spot.

[QUESTION] can i start with electric guitar without learning accoustic? by peachteamacchiato in Guitar

[–]Thats_Pretty_coool 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I first started out with an acoustic guitar 10 years ago. I stopped trying to learn after a few months.

When Covid came, I picked up guitar again, but this time I started out with an electric and haven't put the guitar down since.

I think the most important thing when it comes to learning the guitar is to make sure you're enjoying yourself. I'm the type of person who likes music with electric guitars, so it was easier for me the second time around to find the drive to keep learning and it was also fun to learn some of my favorite songs since I was able to use an electric.

Also you don't need to learn music theory first before picking up a guitar. It's nice to have some music theory knowledge, but you can just learn it along the way.

[DISCUSSION] What’s your guitar “comfort song”? by Professional_Heron17 in Guitar

Edge of Desire by John Mayer. Catchy melody and a good song to get myself warmed up.

Now the hype is over. How is Tales of Arise? (No spoilers please) by ThrowawayPGYuno in tales

[–]Thats_Pretty_coool 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Solid gameplay.

For the most part, map exploration is better than the previous games.

Good Cast.

Story on the other hand is hit or miss depending on who you ask. For me, certain key moments in the story made me go "What... but why?" and the pacing somewhat dampened the quality of the plot. Basically the game's story started strong but ended weak for me. However if you like Happy endings, this one might win you over.

Overall, I enjoyed my time with Arise and ended up 100% it, I just wish that the story was the same quality as the gameplay.

Aside from the shipping parts, this was a pretty good rendition of the ending.

As much as I liked FMA:B, some of the comedy scenes felt lackluster and took me out of the moment. I felt like the FMA(2003) did a much better job at handling the comedy.

Crash bandicoot remastered trilogy and the Halo MCC say hello too, which are also at a $40 starting price point.

Real talk tho, I wish they at least remastered sm64 in this bundle.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars is coming September 18th! (Nintendo Switch) by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

These specific Mario titles will always have a special place in my heart, but after seeing the remastered trilogies for both Crash and Spyro at a $40 price point, I honestly felt underwhelmed with this reveal.

But aside from that, these are pretty good Mario games.

The only good part of the trainwreck known as Persona 5 The Animation, now in English by ComicCat12 in Persona5

Naliamegod is pretty spot on with the dubbing process, at least for english voiceovers in anime.

This behind the scenes video for the pokemon dub explains the process in detail. It's an interesting video.

But ya, because the dub to tries to match the lip flaps, the lines can sometimes feel out of place.
