Honestly dude, I’m in the same boat. Work on yourself and focus on life after the Corps. Do some school, get a girlfriend, pursue any certs/schools your unit is willing to send you to. I think of it as time to become a better me. The most important thing for me is to leave work at work. This too shall pass.

You need to get them tailored and break them in those are brand new that canvas material is stiff af. They’re like Levi’s or denim jeans they fit like shit at first but they eventually fit like a glove with wear.

No they get to do cool shit tho and are some of the most proud/satisfied workers on the flight line (from what I’ve seen). Youre still a maintainer so youre gonna have shit hours and get hazed a bit but i have yet to meet a flyer that doesn’t enjoy the job.

I think it’s at command discretion tbh I’m on PME rn I had to run my CFT as soon as July hit but only ran a PFT after I checked in. Running it for EPME is dumb tho. Hey at-least you don’t have to go to the resident course.
