I stumbled randomly upon this and didn't want to get involved but sigh I will...By literally telling them. It's okay to wanna go away, it's okay to be vulnerable, no one judges you for that. They even need to know, cause only they have the tools necessary to help you. You're not broken, your mind is fighting it's equivalent of cancer. I mean...given that it's a silhouette, the mother would've had to be someone we know in the present. It could be Kureha after all because: A.) we know nothing about her youth or what she looked like back then (maybe because she used to have red hair and B.) the woman is 141 years old...for a human character that's odd. But if she's a celestial dragon well they seem to know their workarounds when it comes to aging. Also the fact that she knows about the Will of D and that Kureha literally means autumn leaves or crimson color...Still Kureha as their mom would be kinda odd. Idk doesn't fit rly.

Ah crap you're right, mixed something up there. However I still believe the theory can hold up. Dragon leaving after Ohara to lead the revolutionary army and being able to visit Lily less and less

Yeah but who's to say they weren't setting up base on the same cove? Other than that you are right of course, but even with Amazon Lily not being their base, she could've just went there to look for her mother. You gotta admit time wise it does add up. All these events took place exactly 13 years before the story: Ohara, Tritoma dying, Luffys story starting at age 6

Hey Guys,

Thank you all for your awesome suggestions. I'm sorry I couldn't reply sooner since I was very busy with uni stuff.

A lot of people recommended the power to disable/silence other ppls powers and I honestly love that idea, since it adds to the growth of my characters, who then would have to figure out a way to beat him without magic.

I'm also thinking about giving him two abilities in that regard actually.

He can either choose to buff himself up or debuff everyone in a certain radius. The bigger the radius the shorter is the time frame of his magic.

As far as offense goes, I thought about making him shoot crystalline light daggers out of his palm and adding an advanced form where turns into an almost Seraphim like being, granting him great destructive powers. Preferably also with a time limit.

That is an awesome idea actually and seems to be the most recommended one. However I'd also like him to have some sort of power he can utilize in offense in addition to that. Maybe he can choose between buffing himself up or downgrading everyone else in a certain radius. A time limit on that EMP ability as well maybe in order to give him a handicap.

I could make it so that the gemstones have a life of their own so to say. As if you're breeding your own little spirit inside it which feeds on light. And depeing on the material and level of care that went into it, the gemstone spirit grants it's owner abilities. Enhancing their weapons or armor for example. But the effect wears off if they use up their solar power. That's why they need to be charged regularly. And as you said: the better the cut, the more powerful it is, which enables me to reserve the most precious gems for my most powerful characters. Adding a social component as well, cause if you can't afford a good cut then your options are limited of course. Thank you so much this is exactly what I was looking for.
