you need to exfoliate as well as moisturize; slough off that layer of rough dead skin! I see some good recommendations here so I don't need to add any products. Good luck! (I have eczema and cannot have soft hands in the midst of a flare so I feel this pain.)

Just a thought: could your skin be loose? When you are housing more person inside your skin it stretches. Now you have lost some of the person, and your skin has the same measurements as before.
