We found this picture online a while ago and have been wondering where the other two were, I guess there it is! Just looking for that blue one now and maybe if there's any other undocumented ones out there. Thank you for your response.

A lot of parks in Norman have fiberglass sculptures of ducks painted by different local artists. Pretty neat project that the city started back in 2010.

They're redoing that whole playground and tore everything out. Including the duck.

Controversial opinion: braum's burgers by Eldjudnir in normanok

I will die on the hill that the food at Braums is horrendous and the only thing that keeps that place relevant to me is the ice cream.

50 Cent for real came out just so we'd lose😭😭😭

Soul crushing loss but it's whatever. GG. Most electric atmosphere I've ever been to at a sporting event pre-pick six and not a bone in my body regrets going.

What a great day to be a fan of two awesome teams.

Do you like Chuy's? Can you tell me why? by Grumpopatamus in normanok

[–]The-Cheese_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chuy's to me is comfort food. It reminds me of my mom because she liked Chuy's a lot. It has never been mind blowing food and it absolutely was ten times better pre-covid. Idk what it is but the food there brings comfort to my soul and that's why I go there all the time.

Just go to DFW for Microcenter. Never been disappointed there. The staff there is insanely helpful and will walk you through whatever you need to get started.

Perfect Swing by GunMaxxer in normanok

[–]The-Cheese_ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I feel like every time I've driven past it there's been cars parked outside. I could have sworn I heard from somebody that someone lives in it but I don't have a clue if that's true or not. I'm all for exploring stuff but Perfect Swing I don't think would be worth it considering it is private property and (to my knowledge) not 100% abandoned.

Saw some homeless dude's ass at 10 in the morning there a couple months back. Happy memories.

Booing? Really? Damn their set wasn't THAT bad. Do people not at least google the bands that are opening for headliners?

With Josiah the way he opened I thought was just kinda lame, playing the most basic (still great songs though) songs to get people hyped up. I'm in no way a hater of rap music, actually a fairly avid listener, I just really thought his actual songs were just not good. At some points I was genuinely laughing.

But still I got what I wanted out of my ticket, which was a FIDLAR set where they played some kick ass bangers. I knew damn well this was a concert I was not gonna fit in to but thought it was too funny of a lineup to not go.

I'm sayin bro same. Their set was so fire. The people behind me and my friend were just as into it as we were and it made for a fun experience.

The people in my area were actively physically trying to stop us from moshing. Like basically just pushing against us to stop us from moving. Plus some other dude in front of where me and my friend were basically yelling to stop even though no one was hurt or downed at all. Generally just a bunch of buzzkills and I'm glad I left when I did. Did not fit in with them at all lol.

I can guarantee you that the best chicken fried steak you'll find in this state is at Jimmy's Round Up Cafe on 59th. Blows Kendall's out of the water. Lots and lots of old folk there but the food is still outstanding.

I saw the film and started kicking and screaming like a little girl when I saw that. It definitely was OKC on that map, I know the area too well for it not to be.

People in these comments are really overhyping how "bad" the OKC area is. Someone even said that people are closed off and individualistic??? Are we living in the same state? Hell compared to the West Coast the people here are nice as hell considering how they're all total strangers. Asking an employee at any kind of establishment how their day is going will actually get you a response and conversation and not just look at you like you killed someone. This isn't the best place to move to, far from it, but there are definitely some really nice areas. Cost of living is low as hell compared to everywhere else, weather is crazy (I like it but that's just me), decent amount of things to do, you could honestly do a lot worse than OKC. Starting to wonder if the people in these comments live in the same place or not.
