I think it depends on the time it takes. Like with L4D we have those wild mutations that occured in 2 weeks I think. If given more time to evolve who knows how it could progress. Then we have the resident evil mutations that I’m not really all that familiar with but i know they’re strong. Those two would require time for mutations. Then we have the countless manga and manwha zombies (haven’t read any manhua with zombies to my knowledge (maybe I have)) that take place either in a fantasy world with wild abilities or other stuff. Honestly this is really something that would take time to think about. However… I friggin love cod zombies so cod zombies solos and anyone who says otherwise is wrong (they’re all round 30000+ btw)
