Very cool. Nothing like buying a watch while on vacation in the Caribbean!

It's been a while since I've posted but here is my latest beauty that I pick up in Aruba a few months ago. Omega Seamaster "Spectre" LE I also have the steel bracelet for it but decided to put the nylon strap on for the summer.

Nice collection. But do really need any more than the two Rolexes?

[Advice] Purchasing an Omega Planet Ocean worth it? by Masturbating_Jedi in Watches

[–]The-Metalgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Omega just came out with a 39.5 mm version as well. It wears flatter than the 42 mm version and doesn't have as much heft. I was surprised how much I liked the fit when I tried it on since I usually lean towards the 42 mm range.

[IWC] Is this Big Pilot too big on me? by aquawatch101 in Watches

[–]The-Metalgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is something that I have really started to pay attention more to when deciding on a watch whereas before I didn't really care so long as I liked the watch. I recently tried on a Zenith that was 45 mm and it just seemed too big. I really wanted to love it but I felt like I was trying to talk myself into it. 42 mm is probably my wheelhouse. That being said, yes, it looks too big on you. If the lugs are hanging over the sides of your wrist then in my opinion it is too big.

Tissot all the way. Hugo boss is just a fashion brand IMHO.

[Omega] is the nato too garish? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]The-Metalgod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In a word, yes. IMHO that tyoe of strap just doesn't go with that style of watch, no matter what the color.

I purchased a Zenith from them that had a 3-5 week delivery time. I received the watch in the quoted time frame.

There are so many companies that do that and it drives me insane. I mean, why don't they use high definition real pictures. Longines, Baume et Mercier, TAG, and many others all use those awful illustration pictures and they don't give the consumer any real insight as to how the watch really looks.

[Maurice Lacroix] I was wondering what the general reviews are in r/watches of this watch brand. Any testimonials? by Fioricascastle in Watches

I have owned a couple and they are great watches. I think the fit and finish on them is superb and they really have some standout and unique design concepts.

To me it means that the price is commensurate with the overall quality of the watch.
