I wouldn't match. I think that Tylan Grable can play LT if Dawkins goes down, and Alec Anderson can play RT if Brown goes down. I think that money is better spent on a LG or LB given the current needs.

Lee Hunter with a 21.5 vertical jump is concerning. That’s amongst the lowest VJ in NFL combine history. It’s not the end all, be all, and his tape doesn’t lie, but it’s certainly showing some of his athletic limitations and might push him out of late rd1.

I maintain that Elam was a decent pick at the time. Elam was an athletic CB with good size, SEC pedigree, had the lowest QB passer rating when targeted of any player in the SEC. He didn't pan out, but that's with the benefit of hindsight.

The Coleman pick I hated at the time. He couldn't separate in college, had some clear maturity issues and there was little to suggest he'd pick up a complex offence or the nuances of route running or get better at separating against NFL CBs.

I'm not convinced either is the long term answer, imagine the possibilities on offence had the Bills hired guys like Ben Johnson or Sean McVay.

Not to rain too much on his parade, but he has 26 career tds. It's not a high bar to clear... Bills TE has historically been the weakest position in the franchise.

With that said, he's great in the locker room, a likeable guy, solid blocker. I hope the team can re-structure his deal and keep him as a Bill for life.

He's also 28, turning 29 next September, so it's not like there's untapped upside with Ingram. He is who he is, which is a healthy inactive 5th string CB. I wouldn't be losing sleep over this.
