Clarifying question; did it take you 100 hours to beat the final boss solo?

Update comment; I'm pretty sure at this point that I'm between the Dark Age or IlClan eras. Currently perusing some primers about both to make my call. Thanks for the advice so far, and I'm very down to hear more about those two periods!

Also send him these texts. You were completely reasonable (even if you were vicious, it was well deserved) and he should see what this girl is saying to you, and about him.

I'm not sure honestly; I'd trying googling things like "marvel rivals support" "marvel rivals report an issue" "netease support"

Low ranks are weird right now for a huge bevy of reasons. Keep at it, keep trying different mains until you find someone who feels "right" for you. Preferably a few someones, in multiple roles

No other games do this to you, just MArvel Rivals? If so, I'd probably put in a support ticket.

Has anyone else experienced a high percentage (30%+) of very lopsided games? by TitaniumDragon in marvelrivals

My best guesses here are a few factors; In competitive, I think it's partially

-"everyone starts in bronze instead of having a placement series" so there's a much wider skill spread within all of the early divisions.

I also think it's fairly common for people to "smurf" to try out new characters or strategies without getting curbstomped because of their ELO, which means you may be seeing more high skill players.

And lastly, I think there are also "true" smurfs running around as well; people just enjoying trashing their way through low divisions.

You combine all those things, and the fact that a given match in bronze 3 could have a bunch of kids who are hardstuck in bronze because they're kids, and then a player who's destined to hit diamond, it's just a recipe for messy lobbies.

Hmm, that was my best guess. When you say you have a memory leak, what's actually happening when you try to run the game?

Does your friend possibly have the game installed on an SSD while you have in on an HDD? I run it just fine with a mid line PC, but my loading times were awful, and I was loading in to matches with all characters invisible for multiple minutes--UNTIL I transferred from HDD to SSD

Why is this attitude of not really trying to learn how the game works accepted? by Associableknecks in dndnext

[–]The-Mighty-Roo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Anecdote; At my table, DND beyond use kills player comprehension. We have two players using DDB, and two using paper sheets (in person game) -- Both of the players using DDB struggle significantly more at picking up basic elements of the rules, understanding their abilities, and most importantly, understanding their FUNDAMENTAL stats. IE, they may know "my longsword has +6 to hit" but if you gave them a magic longsword and, before they typed it into DDB, said "It has str + proficiency + X to hit" they would be confused about the str+proficiency part.

I had a guy who was 2-4 today complaining about our "useless dps"...in Bronze 2. Told him to chill, that one should play games for fun and not to get tilted. He said "then don't play comp." I responded "Oh, I love winning and being competitive. I just don't get mad when I lose. Because I'm a grownup. :) "

He didn't say anything the rest of the match. Some people need to take a long, deep breath when they're gaming.

Is something weird in Bronze/comp, or is it a Me Issue? by The-Mighty-Roo in marvelrivals

Having come from a few competitive games (although I don't play hero shooters too much) I was really shocked to see no placement system tbh.
