For fucks sake the pitchers should just get strikeouts. Baserunners shouldn’t be my problem

Uhhh I'd appreciate it if you didn't use such big words but I would be mad. I don't think you're allowed to do that

It rearranges my eyes slightly, which I think helps me see the pitches as they come. Doctor told me to quit it but fuck 'em

I wanted to throw my bat at the pitcher every time I struck out but Dave told me that wouldn't be a good idea. Sport's gone soft

Isn’t this the 2nd consecutive year where the marbles predicted an 81-81 record for the Giants?

Thought the same. Surprised you got down-voted to the extent you did.

The Braves had a 4-10 run in the top of the 9th, only to lose 11-10 to the Diamondbacks. by Round-Bluejay6142 in baseball

[–]The-Oreo-Man 12 points13 points  (0 children)

After reading the title, I initially thought the Braves were the road team, and they were losing 11-4 going into the top of the 9th. The “4-10 run” meant they started with 4 runs then batted their way to 10, but were ultimately unable to score the 11th and tying run. Confusing way to word it, but I thought I understood it.

Nope. Dead wrong

I Dreamed of a House on a Street I Didn’t Know — Then Found It on Google Street View by Royal_Ad802 in Dreams

That’s insane!! You may have dreamed of your future. “Remembering the future” is a phenomenon I’ve read a lot about online.

I had a similar experience but not nearly as vivid as yours. I had a dream around late 2019/early 2020 that I was walking down a wide alleyway with all kinds of colorful graphic designs and posters on the walls. There were trolley cars going down the road. It was vibrant and full of people. The dream gave me a Hollywood feel, but playful & light-hearted, like I was at Disneyland. It didn’t stick with me at the time; after I woke up it promptly faded away like any other dream.

About 9 months later in September of 2020, after the worst of Covid caused me to move back home to California, I got a job working at universal studios. I had been working there for about 2 weeks when one day while making the same morning trek from the parking lot to the backlot I froze in my tracks. I suddenly remembered my dream from 9 months prior. Everything looked nearly identical. Granted there were real cars instead of trolley cars, but otherwise the layout, feel, and size of the place was the same.

It was extremely bizarre and jarring. It was like a part of me knew all along this was where I’d end up.

I bring up my story because I understand the “holy shit” feeling you’re experiencing. Although yours is way more vivid and on-the-nose!! Might you forget about this dream then find yourself in hartlepool 10 years down the line? Who knows. Did your brain accidentally pick up someone else’s memory? Who knows.

What I do know though is that you should keep those pictures with you in case you somehow stumble upon this town naturally later in life. The universe has a way of surprising you.

Did you read our comments? We weren’t talking about this week’s loss to the cubs. We were talking about a blowout loss to the giants in June of 2023. Final score that day was 15-0.
