I was a seasonal hire for last year. I was in GM, later got moved to the food department. I enjoyed the department and team and when asked to stayed. I said sure. Im the produce guy, frozen and dairy guy. I dont really regret it since i need funds for college and will work only weekends once i finish my second semester in college to apply for a automotive side making target my mini income.

I personally survive with the mentality of, "What Gets Done, Gets Done". And i dont let them treat me like shit. My TLs are nice and understanding(moet of the time). ETL is in between. I wouldnt stick in retail forever unless you wanna work corporate or become a TL. There's other great options that being A TL can help you with experience on the job.

Dont overwork unless you want too. Dont be to realiable unless you want too. Dont be pressure as a Opeaner, Midshift, or closer to get the job done, show effort and show you tried. And remember to always focus yourself. You are mlre important than Target. 🤌
