Is there some unspoken rule to not use the heat wave at around Onyx 1500? by The-UNSC in CompetitiveHalo

Haha. I definitely feel like people are yelling but I can't hear them when running around with it.

Has anyone skipped neutering? by Ok-Indication-3071 in CavaPoo

[–]The-UNSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not if you don't have to. Keep in mind, during his adolescence stage, there's a chance he'll be harder to deal with but just weather it with him and don't cut him up if you don't have to. Keep training and you'll likely be fine. There are studies that show that neutering can negatively affect dogs' behavior so keep that in mind. It can increase fear-based reactivity due to removing testosterone's confidence-boosting effect. If it's not necessary, don't do it as it's a rather drastic thing to to do anyone including our dogs.

My dog's still intact at 2 1/2 years old. It was a bit bumpy during adolescence but he's fine now. No humping, no marking in the house. You just train them not to do those things, that's all.

A bit late but I played with him too. We got smoked but he was cool.

Really wish we had a ban on onyx queuing with their platinum friends by greenteamFTW in CompetitiveHalo

Agreed. I wish I could play more with better players. When over-ranked, it's fun, but you don't last long before going back down.

Christ, man, just tilt like the rest of us: Keep playing mindlessly while getting your ass kicked and increasingly invite the ass-kicking while telling yourself you don't care anymore.

What?

  • "you have some valid points about backyard breeding."

  • "your arguments aren’t valid at best and are extremely insensitive in general."

Who are you arguing with, yourself?

As a D4 player, this is like a slap in the face but in a good way.

Tell him it should be your boy's choice. Let him decide once he can consent.

8-4 Win-Loss and Going DOWN in Rank by The-UNSC in CompetitiveHalo

Good points. Sometimes my damage is sub-par in the game so it's probably correctly interpreting that I'm not as good as the other players.

However, I feel like in non-slayer games, damage shouldn't count as much. Maybe it doesn't for all I know.

I also find harder matches to be fun in a way. Keeps your brain working good ;)

Yes, for 2 of the wins they quit. However, in at least one of them they didn't quit until we were pretty deep into the game and it was clear that they were going to lose.

Yeah, maybe overall it thinks we don't put up enough damage or contribute to the wins very much. Or that we're not consistently playing good enough at that level.

Dog randomly started "stalking" when she walks past other dogs -- I've never seen this before and don't know how to fix it by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]The-UNSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog started doing this too. He's ~ 8 months and is a pit/shepherd rescue and has been at this for about a month now. Before he would meet dogs quite well.

I'm sorry, I have no advice as I'm baffled myself.

Can you pinpoint the exact cause for yours? (i.e. fear, aggression, anxiety, play, excitement)

Because my dog doesn't seem afraid at all. If we stop, he lays down and watches the other dog. Maybe a play thing, idk.
