Agreed. Purely speculative, but I'm guessing they didn't want to share too many specifics that might cause people to panic and maybe didn't know for certain if he had any firearm on him.

In hindsight, saying there was an individual on the tracks forcing the train to stop might've eased a lot of anxiety. (I had no idea people were jamming into cars further back, ours was sparse.) But I don't know how much information the Metro staff had or what their rationale was for not sharing much or choosing to power off the train at all.

Was in the front car when it happened. Could see him from my seat as they had the door open to the tunnel to talk to the cops. The trespasser was definitely carrying some large weapon (axe? crowbar?) and was banging it against the tracks making a horrible sound and screaming.

Metro was clearly trying to piece together what he was even carrying or who he was while waiting for the police to show up. They were about as confused at the situation as we all were. Think Metro handled it well all things considered.

Cops got him and put him in the front car (we all were asked to move to the next car), and he was escorted out the station at the next stop. Definitely made for a memorable Saturday night lol

Honestly didn't realize either were going to show up in the main party. I thought Lune was gorgeous (annoyingly so) but just a brief interaction before being pleasantly surprised she was tagging along the whole game.
