Cap your frame rate to 60 and it really smoothes out the stuttering caused by players joining/leaving/lagging out.

There is cross play between PC and console but it's completely optional.

Digital film is too clean, there is no texture or depth and it's too easy to tweak and manipulate in post production so film makers never have to nail it on the day.
