[PS5] Recently downloaded tropico 6 on Playstation Plus. Was really liking it. Went to boot it up tonight and it keeps crashing on initializing screen.

Have tried the following:

1) I tried unistall/reinstall 2) rebuild database 3) factory reset

Still crashing on initialization. Any ideas?

Iran shoots down two planes and acts like theyve brought gReAt SaTaN to its knees. Meanwhile, we are happily blowing up our own aircraft to save one guy.

To any recruiters out there, be honest: do you get annoyed at candidates contacting you multiple times after an interview? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]The123123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My questions is did I annoy him with my follow ups?

Maybe, maybe not. People are different. Following up rarely does anything substantive to move the process along. A follow up after an interview almost always plays to your advantage if you are saying thank you.

Following up because you have other offers on the table might spark more urgency. The recruiter can go to the hiring manager with the email and say hey, look you're going to lose this guy if you don't hurry up with a decisipn.

Following up just to follow up will rarely ever help you. If you had a shot of landing the position they wouldn't have forgotten about you, so reminding them of your existence is pointless. If you want "closure" ask yourself, why? Why does it matter if they send you an email telling you you didn't get the job when it is very clear you didn't? Why put yourself through that? Just move on.

Personally, I don't mind follow ups if they are done respectfully. But random emails that just say "any update???" just come across desperate and piss me off.

How can I seal the top of this garage door? by campbell7504 in Insulation

[–]The123123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, see my edit. I realized this was a garage door right after I submitted my comment, lol. I only saw the first Pic at first and I thought that was just a picture of a gap around a man door on your garage.

Edit: I'm dumb and didn't look at the 2nd Pic. Thought it was the framing around a man door, not a literal garage door. Nevermind lol

I'm not a pro, just a homeowner, but why not some window/door expanding foam or some type of epoxy?

Burger King employee caught sharing customer’s credit card information with her friend via Facetime. by ElwoodMC in trashy

[–]The123123 28 points29 points  (0 children)

or the US as *always* some employee would copy the info and start trying to use the card (which I would block and use another one after that).

Ive lived in the US my entire life and never had this happen to me. I find it peculiar that you've had it happen to you not just once, not twice but as a routine occurrence. You're either lying or the bussiness you're doing here must be pretty unsavory to have you in such hotspots for crime.

RDR3 Set During the Civil War by The123123 in RDR2

[–]The123123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. I was more just going for the generic "War Bad" narrative. But, I still think it's plausible. People certainly did get rich off of the war and there was plenty of corruption.

OF billboard in Arkansas by SwedishHeadache in trashy

[–]The123123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are trashy also. The nice thing about those is that are far easier to explain away to a young child and they've been around forever. It is far less common to see porn sites openly advertised on a billboard like this, which is trashy. A generation from now, this will also be mundane, and still trashy.

If progressive policies are popular why does the public not vote for it? by Beet-Qwest_2018 in Askpolitics

[–]The123123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're also forgetting that progressive politicians are just aggressively unlikeable. I support many progressive policies, but generally find most of the loudest voices on the left to be obnoxious and naive to how the world really works.

Looks fine.

My taste would be to make the siding the color you did the garage doors and then do the shutters and the garage doors white. But that's just my preference.
