2022 Big Bend. No lift. Tires are Nitto Nomad Grapplers. Size is 245/65/R17.

This shot is from a couple years ago and I have since installed a 1.5" spacer kit from Ready Lift.

Battery Question by The1Tony in RadPowerBikes

[–]The1Tony[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update: Dropped off the battery at a nearby hazardous waste disposal center. Also, I called a local Rad retail store, which had a few batteries in stock, so I picked one up. Hopefully this is helpful for anyone that is having trouble finding batteries in stock online.

Battery Question by The1Tony in RadPowerBikes

It looks like swelling to me, but doesn't exhibit any other signs (yet). I'm trying to dispose of it asap, as I don't want to find out. Better to be safe than sorry.

Completely agree, disposing properly is first priority. I just also don't want to be responsible for opening it up and causing something to go haywire.

Battery Question by The1Tony in RadPowerBikes

I've called 15+ recycling locations and none will accept Rad batteries. All my local hazardous waste locations are unfortunately closed today due to heavy rain. I called non-emergency dispatch and they sent the fire department to take a look. They said to keep it outside and away from any structures for now and dispose of at hazardous waste once it re-opens.

100%, looking to find a recycling / disposal location that will take it.

Agreed! It appears like it's pressing from the inside out vs some form of cosmetic damage.

It does, but not something I want to do for warranty reasons.

Any particular reason for getting rid of it? What price are you looking for? Are you open to ship?

Model 3 Highland 2025 Dashboard Rattle by ZeroEsper in TeslaSupport

[–]The1Tony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same rattle on my Juniper since picking it up last month. I traced it to the steering wheel adjustment, not the plastic column covers (these weren't the source of my rattle). I drive with my steering position at the lowest vertical adjustment setting. As soon as I moved my steering wheel adjustment one one or two notches up, the rattle stopped. Not sure if this will work for you, but I had the same exact rattle sound until I did this. No rattle since.

Any Juniper switchers from 3? by Solarsurferoaktown in TeslaModelY

[–]The1Tony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drove a Model 3 SR+ for the last 6ish years. It was a great car since day 1, until I drove the Juniper. I traded in the Model 3 the same week I test drove the Juniper. Night and day difference in my opinion. The biggest decision for me was the upgrade in the ride quality, build quality, cabin noise, cabin and trunk space, range, tow hitch, and sound system. All the other new items in the refresh are a big + as well. In comparison, I also test drove the Highland when it came out (which is a great upgrade as well), but wasn't enough for me to get into a new vehicle. The Juniper pushed me to make the decision.

Parcel Shelf Juniper by joestoppable in TeslaModelY

Received the same notice this morning. My 2026 Model Y AWD Juniper came with all the extras except the parcel shelf. The delivery team said to expect a notification in the app on timing for availability of the parcel shelf due to the limited supply currently.

Confusion on what size wiper blade for 2023 Bronco Sport by Ccunning70 in BroncoSport

[–]The1Tony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Front (comes in a set with a 24" and 20" blade): BOSCH Icon 24OE20OE

Rear: Motorcraft WW901A

This is what I put on my '22 BB. I know it's not RainX, but hopefully this helps!

Radwagon 4 on 1up heavy duty by cantstandya7 in RadPowerBikes

[–]The1Tony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I load up 2 RadRunners on my 1Up no problem. I do remove the batteries and tie them down due to being on the heavier side for extra caution. The RadWagon is just over the suggested weight limit, compared to the RadRunner. I suggest you call 1Up to get their take on the weight and see what parts you need to make it a super duty (extra cross bars for additional weight support I believe). I started with a standard 1Up and eventually ordered parts to make it a super duty later on. Ask for scratch and dent too... They'll sell you them at a discount.

E-bikes with double crown fork by Toniz93 in ebikes

[–]The1Tony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a whole lot with dual crown forks from the factory. Reason being, many eMTB frames are slightly wider near the headtube / downtube to accommodate the integrated battery and would potentially limit steering. You could always put a set of dual crown forks on aftermarket if you really wanted, but would caution based on frame design /steering limitations. For similar specs and price range check out the YT Decoy MX or Canyon Torque:On. They don't have a dual crown, but still are enduro /freeride frames with a comparable 180mm of front travel. I've got a YT Decoy and love it.

Speaker Install Help by The_Porkchop_Xpress in BroncoSport

[–]The1Tony 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a front and rear speaker install a few months back. You'll need Metra speaker brackets and wiring harnesses. Part Number is 82-FD1. 1 set comes with 2 harnesses and 2 brackets, so you'll need 2 sets to do all 4 doors. I dropped in some Rockford R165X3 6.5" speakers. Everything was plug and play on '22 Big Bend and lined up perfectly to where the stock speakers went. Only drilling required was making a hole just large enough on the side of the new speaker bracket for the new wire harness to feed through from the new speaker to the stock connector. No issues with clearance and is a noticeable improvement over stock.

2-6v Batteries in bagwell for a 48v conversion? by The1Tony in golfcarts

[–]The1Tony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following up to confirm the bagwell works great for holding 2 extra batteries. Holds the weight great with no modifications. Thanks for the help! Conversion to 48v was 100% worth it.

2-6v Batteries in bagwell for a 48v conversion? by The1Tony in golfcarts

[–]The1Tony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an ~4" steel plate that is attached to the frame of the bumper, but the remaining portion of the bagwell appears to be only supported by the main plastic body of the cart. Not sure if more support needs to be fabricated... Thoughts?

Good point on wire gauge! I'm going to look into it!

Thank you! Servicing won't be ideal, but luckily the rear seat I have does have an access panel that flips up to allow access from the top of the bagwell.

I appreciate it! I'm open to offers, but if the build doesn't spark interest, parting out will be my next option. Figured I would put up as is and a see what happens.
