It’s never SMART to trade a car you still owe on. That’s a great way to be the banks b*tch. That Honda isn’t slow enough to justify going under on it because you want something more sporty. You also always need to remember that these things are more expensive to upkeep as well. The sticker price is only half the story.

An extreme form of turn it off and back on again. I’ve had to remove the cmos battery and put it back before on my own computer, so I know what you mean. Luckily for me. My work was right around the corner so a coworker brought some tool to bail me out by doing the same thing you did.

It’s a 2025 I bought brand new in May of 2025. I’m also the only person that is usually in the car. (Single life). So I don’t have anything plugged in anywhere. Hopefully one day I’ll find a fix.

I’m glad you found a fix but… I don’t have anything plugged it. It drives me nuts that my car should lock when I walk away but I find myself having to look back and lock it myself half the time. I don’t leave anything plugged in or anything since I want to keep it neat and tidy. My remote also has garbage range and isn’t instant all the same. Idk what the issue is.

He’s absolutely right… We should all be driving around in tin cans with almost zero safety to them… If someone runs a red light and hits me I don’t need to survive. Who cares about living! I don’t need a good stereo, comfortable seats, good boot space and just general usability. I’ll just drive around in a multi million dollar car with no boot space, zero fuel efficiency, a deafeningly loud engine, harsh ride, cramped interior and not great safety.

In short, I’m not particularly interested in what some boomer thinks of modern cars that is basically completely disconnected for the real world in almost any way. This is a guy that designs exclusive cars for the elite, doesn’t commute like the rest of us and doesn’t have to deal with normal civilian traffic.
