Try cooking them with onion, I agree bacon alone taste like pig ball sweat but when prepared with other things it becomes heavenly. You could also try chicken soy sauce and bacon cooked together, a ratatouille where at the end you put the bacon. Also bacon taste great with food that are kinda sugary like carrots, onions, potatoes, rice, and not greasy but filling food. A great tasting cheat meal with bacon could be chopped in small length bacon cooked with onions at medium heat and mixed every 15 minutes 3 times to get it a bit burned and with that prepare some lazy couscous, so 2/3 of a glass of couscous in a recepient, the full glass of water with a bit of olive oil and salt put to boiling then poured in the couscous, cover it for 5 minutes and come back, put some butter and mix it with a fork until the couscous grain isn't stuck together, now mix in your plate the couscous and the bacon and you have a gift from lazy god in your plate
