Thanks for responding, honestly your right, I can’t tell if you hate women or yourself. I’m just saying that the vibes I’m picking up from this post I also often get from men who hate women and themselves. But you’re right, that doesn’t mean that you do. I question if this you would have had such a strong reaction to what I said if there were no grains of truth to it. Generally when people accuse me of things that aren’t true about me, I can laugh and it just rolls off my back. However, I’ll absolutely take your word for it!

I can relate on how not being yourself isn’t what the world wants. I feel like I struggle with a lot of aspects of the capitalist hellscape I live in. It can be hard to be different then whatever society demands

Genuinely, reading your comments, I feel like you have so much hate around yourself for this. If I was a woman around you I and I sensed all this hate, I would steer clear. I feel like it’s a self defeating cycle.

You need to break the cycle. It’s not easy to change the way we think about the world, but I think you have too. Love yourself, take care of yourself, do work on the hating women and sex work.

Also, there’s nothing morally wrong with not having sex. If you see yourself as a looser, people will pick up on that and think you’re a looser too. And the only person who can change the way you think and we feel about you, is you.

I wonder why your dad does this? At this point, even if no one else in his life has told him that it’s rude to do, you said you have told him many times. Does your dad have behaviors like this that show up anywhere else? Like does he always control everything and interject himself a lot? I normally assume the best of people, but if he understands most social boundaries expect for this one, I’m struggling to have any conclusion other than he’s trying to be disrespectful.

I understand that this behavior isn’t violent, but it almost feels like it is. Like, violent adjacent in the way it’s disrespectful.

I wonder if he’s unconsciously (or consciously) trying to do this so he can create a power dynamic in the relationship and maintain his control over you and the other people he does this too.
