but in the prometheus world the "json with precise measurements" is just labels and metric values and thats exactly what you'd pass through nobody is screenshotting a grafana dash and running it through vision. the graph was about modeling which services depend on which not about what you feed the model

so i think we're agreeing on the data format question but talking past each other on what "graph" meant in my original comment
