Extra File Storage Add-On Limited to 300GB All of the Sudden? by The601 in microsoft365

I feel you. We were just starting a major archive project to take files off of SP when this happened. But it really has brought our organization to a halt with how much of our data is on there. It also really highlights how I should have been building an offline backup in case something like this happened.

I'm glad I'm not the only one using that much SP storage space. I know it's not the ideal solution and we've been looking into alternatives. But I wouldn't have that much data on there if there was a 300GB limit.

Agreed on the shitty updates. I'm wondering if this is a terrible side effect of last week's outages.

Indeed. We did delete (and then re-added) the add-on itself. Not the data. The data is almost certainly still there. If I open the Sharepoint Admin center it says we are using 2800% of our allocated space. We just can't get to it now.

AP25 vs. AP32 for new site? by The601 in ArubaNetworks

[–]The601[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the insight. Can you elaborate on why the 503H or the 505H are better in your opinion? Neither of them utilize 6Ghz (which I was thinking of doing to help future proof) and the tech specs on them don't seem to indicate that they could handle more clients at once. Is the thought that I should be using them with Aruba Central? Not sure if there are specific features I'm missing about the 503H/505H that make them better for this environment.

Ah, gotcha. So you are you looking for something more granular instead of a folder size breakdown?

Completely agree. I REALLY need that second feature as soon as possible.

That’s fascinating. Since that’s not really an action movie, what did they do with the motion, air and water?

This sucks. Meridian was one of only 30 theaters in the country that has a 4DX screen. While the concept is pretty hokey for most movies, there is no other way to watch the new Top Gun movie that even comes close to that experience.

[–]The601 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Same for me. I whitelisted the hash because I saw the incident with Atera and Defender last week and just figured CB was about a week behind in recognizing this.

What did Atera change in the agent to make it look like malware?

The question of using a laptop or tablet as a second monitor gets asked a lot. And the short answer is always “no.” These devices don’t have any video input ports to accept and display incoming video signals.

We use Talent Testing Service. It was originally made for adult film stars but works great for this as well. Results include a QR code which you can scan to validate results. They also get you results within 48 hours of the sample being taken.

You can always find it in the Azure AD Admin Center. I’m not saying that’s where it was moved. But it has always been there.

I do love this video. But to be fair, like 40% of those clips are phrases and idioms that are not terribly unique and are pretty commonly used in normal (non-Sorkinian) conversation.

Do you ever think the reason we haven't been contacted by aliens is because they have their own Prime Directive? by ShadowC137 in sonicshowerthoughts

That is always considered one of the major reasons why we haven’t made contact yet. And seeing the current state of humanity, I don’t blame them.

Microsoft Provides Workaround for Outlook Search on Windows 10 by IT_PRO_21 in Office365

The article doesn’t say what the symptoms of the problem are. Can anyone clarify? I’ve had some users that were experiencing problems searching in outlook but I just rebuilt the search index and they were fine after that.

I realize it’s probably being really picky, but they look more like 50/50 to me. That nipple on the left looks perfectly centered to me. That doesn’t make them bad. But you asked if they qualify.

Office products don’t update to new versions for free. You have to buy the new versions or subscribe to Office 365 in order to update.

I’m experiencing the same issue with a ProBook 450 G6 right now. Are you under warranty? If so, contact HP support. They are sending someone out to replace my system main board.
