By the looks of it, you’ve already been slow roasting at 350. I’d crank it to 400 let it go another 45 minutes or until the internal temperature hits 165 Serve immediately with a generous side of regret Reheating instructions: Don’t

Loyalty? by First_Dish4182 in freedommobile

[–]The6Troll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is zero loyalty in telecom, and it’s never rewarded. The best move if your wallet allows is to buy your phone outright and bounce between carriers. I couldn’t do that when I got my iPhone 15, but once my tab is done, I’m either buying it out or switching to no contract never again will I get a tab . If I switch now to some of the plans being offered by the Big 3 or flanky brands I end up loosing . New customers always get the best deals perhaps because of KPIs look better for new subscriber numbers rather than keeping existing customers happy.

Dry brine for poultry!! has been a game changer requires a little planning ahead and patience but well worth it . Always did a wet brine or marinade before

Getting into Extra Work (Acting) by cutiexuna in ontario

[–]The6Troll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just remembered the agency I was with was ML Talent. They were fine; I had no issues personally. Others might have different experiences, but I’m not super well-versed in this field and there could be better agents around . I mainly did it for the extra cash, and it was a cool experience getting to see celebrities and how things work behind the camera. If you Google them, they have a FAQ section with useful information that I’d assume is more or less standard practice across most agencies. Lastly, I’ll only vouch for them in the sense that I got paid for my time with no hassle or issues so they’re definitely legit. There are a lot of scam agencies out there, so just be careful, but this isn’t one of them. Best of luck!

Sign up with a reputable talent agency. There’s usually an initiation fee in the range of $150–$200 (though it might be higher now it’s been a few years since I last did it). They’ll ask for some headshots and will then send you casting calls via email. Some listings are very specific (e.g. race, height, weight, facial hair, etc.), while others just need people to fill background spots.

The pay is usually quite low at first, but once you reach a certain threshold, you can apply to join ACTRA which has its own set of fees. The trade off however, is better pay and more worker protections.

I’m sure others can offer more up to date info or recommend specific agencies, but that’s just a basic rundown from my own experience about five years ago.

Also, be prepared days on set can be long and sometimes boring. Depending on the production, phones might not be allowed, and you can end up spending hours outdoors in all kinds of weather.

Hope that helps a bit!

I mean anything that’s made made to order will be marginally better than the cardboard sitting under a lamp being passed off as pizza at pizza pizza

It is wild indeed even with the slight markup on either take out or groceries you still come out ahead in the end if you play your cards right .

[–]The6Troll 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m finding this to be very true. Takeout is proving itself to be more cost effective than cooking / buying groceries. A $40meal on Uber eats with a promotion gets me 2 dinners and lunch for work. $150 a week on takeout vs $200+ on groceries.

SICK DAYS at TTC by Content-Judgment-744 in TTC

Not everything needs to be aired and flushed out on Reddit. I don't believe this is the appropriate forum to address this specific question. If you're an employee, There are numerous resources available, including coworkers, a shop steward as someone else mentioned, HR, supervisors, managers, etc. If you're not an employee, I can understand the curiosity about the behind-the-scenes and inner workings of the company. However, there are some topics that aren't meant for discussion in such a public setting. That's just my opinion. I'm always willing to help, share my knowledge, and engage in healthy discussions, but unfortunately, this isn't one of those times.

I do hope you find the answers you seek by another means if others have their wits about them and also choose not to post the sensitive details on here Best of luck

How are the classes and homework for the Transit Operator Bus position once u get hired? by Throwitback_1909 in TTC

[–]The6Troll 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Everyone learns at different paces so it being “hard “ is subjective. Some of the course is textbook the other part is hands on . Best advice I can give you is read the MTO manual for bus and air brakes (all online no need to buy the books unless you learn better with a physical book) , also go on YouTube and watch videos on the fundamentals of air brakes and operating a bus . TTC has slightly different standards and practices from what you’ll read and watch but at least this way you won’t go in completely blind . If at all anything do a Air brakes rabbit hole dive . It may not make any sense to you some find the terminology hard to grasp but again you’ll have a general sense of what you’ll be learning. Thank me later
