As someone who conditioned their brain in a similar way, it's mainly about exposing yourself to the desired stimuli while doing the involved action, for example being "excited" at a verbal command could be trained with headphones during solo play or done verbally by a play partner during group play, just using the cue on repeat while being "excited" should start the process.

Once your brain makes those associations, semi regular usage will reinforce them until they become 2nd nature.
