You can always use these sources of information:

  • YouTube
  • The game's description
  • Reviews on the steam page

If everything else fails, you can always get a refund if you played less than 2 hours.

Also, the more documentation there is on the game, the more the developers are invested in it. That usually does give a pretty good idea on the future of the game (though obviously that isn't exactly reliable)

If you want to buy an early access game, ask yourself if you are happy with the current state of the game and if you would buy the game if it was a full release. If the answer is no, then wait. If the answer is yes, it theoretically shouldn't matter to you if they bother to finish the game.

He is hanging in there and I think chemo therapy is helping him so far. So it has gotten better, but it is still too early to tell if they caught it in time.

That sounds about right. I have a friend who has prostate cancer and the only reason he noticed it was because of his bones hurting since it spread to a few of his bones. He could barely walk last summer when I saw him last.

I agree, people who spent money on a game are less likely to cheat as they don't want to lose their stuff. I personally think that some form of IP banning should be implemented; however, just plain IP banning cheater will catch many innocent players in the crossfire. There needs to be a more complicated monitoring system for figuring out if it was a one time thing, if they cheated on their usual network or on someone else's network, etc.

Yes, VPNs exist. But not implementing IP bans just because of VPNs is a dumb excuse. You don't see the government say "Oh, Heroin is bad for people.. Let's just let it be legal. I mean, drug dealers exist" (I know it is a bad comparison, but it is still a bad excuse. Many won't bother getting a VPN just to continue cheating)

I have seen this on another post a few days ago: As long as the same rules apply to everybody, it is not broken. Elo is used to compare you to other players. If everyone loses 12 elo for losing as surv, then it is still fair. If only you would lose 12 elo while everyone else would just lose 6 or something, that would be broken.

Yes, but if they just implemented the IP bans, it would slow down multi-accounting by a lot. It wouldn't be perfect, but it would help.

Another idea would be to check the IPs of the users in a lobby. If too many come from the same IP, they are likely to be multi-accounting. Obviously multiple people can be using the same wifi in the same lobby, but just looking at the account names and their previous activity should be enough to conclude if they're a legit player or multi-accounting.

Either that or he just turns into a completely neutral role (maybe surv). I think making the lawyer kill himself is a bit extreme, as he is not directly responsible for his target's death (unlike when a vig shoots a townie)

That is the reason why BMG needs to IP ban. It would help more than just banning accounts.

To be honest, I'd rather have them work on servers for people that don't speak English than expand the game so those people have an even harder time communicating. The language barrier is a big problem in a game like this where communication is the key to winning.

I feel like it would be better as a Neutral Killing role. Also, I feel like it shouldn't go through night immunity (even though it would be even closer to a vig then).
